This bed is the narrowest I've ever seen in any youth hostel. It's about 80cm wide and has only a thin layer on it, making it very hard and difficult to fall asleep. For northerners, who are used to sleeping on thick mats and cotton mattresses, it's very uncomfortable to sleep on a hard bed, and it makes their bones ache.
