Our gracious host came to meet us around 11pm at night when we finally got here after a long boat ride. She was so kind and you wouldn’t know we arrived at such an inconvenient hour. She happily showed us around the beautiful studio. We are currently staying on the fourth floor and have had such an amazing stay so far. The room is so quirky with a floating table, two balconies, a spiral staircase leading up to the bedroom loft, with access to a private roof top terrace. It is a workout getting to the top suite, the staircase is winding and narrow, but oh so worth it! If you are able to climb a few flights of stairs and love the charm of vaulted ceilings and eclectic decorations, this place is for you. Breakfast is perfect and delicious! The staff is so kind, happy to help, and make staying here even better!

How can I describe the indescribably pitiful and contemptuous welcome we received from the owner. He arrived 20 minutes later than we expected and left us waiting in the street. He hurriedly directed us to a room we hadn't booked and as soon as we dared to ask about the appropriateness of the booking, he simply threw us out in a perfectly aggressive and inhospitable manner. This person is not cut out for this job, nor is he cut out to welcome strangers whom he obviously has no use for. Fortunately, after being thrown out, we were still able to find another establishment. This is unspeakable and does not, of course, imply any response on his part.
