Our stay in Chania was memorable. The staff at the hotel was very kind and helpful. We made the most of the location (a few minutes from the beach and close enough to town whilst very quiet). The hotel was very clean and breakfast was delicious!

I have just returned from the most wonderful 5-day stay at the Alexis Hotel with my mum. It is the loveliest family run hotel - the staff are all so welcoming and helpful, the facilities are excellent and the rooms comfortable and very clean. We had a side sea view balcony room which was perfect, with a wonderful view. The breakfast is also excellent - a large variety and a couple of different local foods each day. Although out of town, the location was great - you could walk into town in about 30 minutes, but we caught the bus which was very easy, frequent and inexpensive. It's also a short walk to a lovely beach with cafes etc. All in all, just perfect - would 100% recommend and we would love to come back!

Hotel Alexis is a total gem. Do not hesitate to book here. The staff are all just amazing. They make you feel like they are glad you're here. So friendly so helpful. Such a treat. They clean the place continuously. Every request we had was always met with a smile. We had ocean view room and the view is spectacular ! The buffet is very good.

We loved everything about Alexis hotel! The location, the quality of food, the ambience and most importantly, the passion that flows from the hearts of all the staff members - from the very top (Josefina and Theo) to the rest of them (Sophie and Eleni in housekeeping, Maria in the kitchen and all the members of one big ‘Alexis family’). The staff work very harmoniously as one big family to ensure that their guests get the best service and make sure that they have an enjoyable and restful experience

Great hotel! Room was clean, cleaning every day. Stuff? Amazing people! Wish to see You again! Love You! Swimming pool,jacuzzi, and parking. And restaurant! What can I say more? Just 2 stars? They deserve for minimum 4! Localization very good as well.

We were truly pleased with our stay at this small family hotel. The rooms were spotlessly clean and tiny. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful – not only did they greet us with a smile, but they also assisted us in finding a rental car, which made our trip much more convenient. The hotel also offers a convenient parking area, which was extremely useful since we had a rental car. It might be helpful to consider allowing the air conditioning to remain on when the room key is removed, similar to how the fridge continues to work. Given the high outdoor temperatures, it would ensure the room stays cool and comfortable for guests even when they are not inside.

Staid here for a week and it couldn’t have gone better. Arrived late in the night and the night reception was great Rooms are clean and tidy nice bathroom. Can walk to nice beaches and a 40 minute walk to the old town which is amazing. Restaurant below is great had full rack of ribs which you have to try. Special thanks to Frode who is on the reception in afternoon and evening

Peaceful location of the hotel, beautiful terrace with sea view, nice room, staff friendly and helpful, good breakfast buffet, excellent restaurant. Very close to public transport. It was our second stay at this hotel, the first was 9 years ago !
