For this trip, we arrived in the Mainland on a Thursday evening on weekdays, but renovations started at 9 a.m. on Friday. The rooms were basically not soundproofed, and it was a courtyard with wooden walls, so it was very responsive.
Since nine o'clock in the morning, there have been constant sounds of banging, drilling into the wall, generators, nail guns, sawing wood and iron, and the sound of workers discussing at the door. Basically, there is no peace and no one can sleep.
This may be the reason for B&Bs. Although they have to consider the feelings of their guests, they don’t need to consider the feelings of others when they want to start construction of their own properties.
Therefore, my accommodation experience was extremely poor. I will not stay at this B&B again, and I do not recommend it to anyone.
