Ibis Styles Hotels in Chaozhou

Located in a mountain valley far away from the city, it is deserted and I dare not go out at night. It is too deserted and I feel like I am going to go bankrupt. It is called a hot spring hotel. I spent hundreds of dollars to stay but I couldn't take a hot spring bath (I need to buy a separate ticket). There are cockroaches crawling around in the room.

You can go to the hotel from the airport bus line no.6 (to Chaozhou ) at the bus station no.2(chihu bus station) and walk back about 150 meters, cross the road and you will see the hotel. The location was nice. They have the mall near hotel(Buliding A, B, C) and the KFC really close to the hotel and we enjoy about heytea and chagee too. Staff don’t speak english, but they use a translator for communicate us. They were nice and don’t hesitate to help us although we don’t understand for each other. The real lobby is on the 5th floor. The breakfast was great. They have a cook noodle so you can use 3 noodles for them cook. And the soup was great.!!! And they also have a congee, fried rice, some stir fried meatball and vegetable, dim sum, salad, yogurt and bread zone. It’s so various.

Hotel is clean and the staff are super helpful. The little play area kept the kids entertained for hours. There's a cute little library with a selection of books. Good selection of local food for breakfast.

The hardware’s excellent.  It’s near many sightseeing places.  The room is clean and user friendly. The service is also good.  Buffet breakfast is good enough.  However, there is still room for improvement in the food served All-day dining restaurant in the afternoon and some dishes in Chao cuisine for dinner.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in recently. Although it takes about 40 minutes (via Didi Car) to travel from Chaosan Station, the hotel is nicely located opposite West Lake/Park and near major tourist attractions (Kai Yuan Temple开元寺, GuangJi Tower/Wall/Bridge 广济桥), shops and eateries (Paifang Food Street牌坊街, XiNan Food Street 西南路). There are a few decent restaurants just beside the hotel too. Art Hotel Han Si XiHu lives up to its name as the hotel is beautifully decorated with art pieces, especially at the lounge area where there is a nightly Chinese string instrument (Guzheng) performance (except Tuesdays). A shoutout to the hotel staff : - the warm and helpful reception staff (Miss Chen 陈小姐 and Miss Li 李小姐） - the excellent housekeeping staff who thoughtfully supplied extra coffee bags after knowing I drink coffee - the service staff who did not just walk past me but greeted me and also introduced me to the free Chaozhou dessert (evenings only) and tea provided at the reception lounge The hotel room we booked was very spacious and the amenities were adequate and of high quality (think there isn’t a room safe but no biggie). There was even a complete tea set to make a proper cup of Chinese tea. A room air purifier and dehumidifier are provided. The bed is big and comfortable with adequate pillows. The aircon here works perfectly unlike other hotels’ useless control settings. I like the huge projector screen entertainment system except there isn’t much to offer non-Chinese guests. Soundproofing-wise, we could occasionally hear neighbouring room doors close and people talking in the corridors but it wasn’t a big issue. The shower and toilet area is large but the entire floor will become wet & slippery after a shower as there isn’t a screen to contain the spray from the shower. The hotel does provide a floor mat and bathroom slippers to prevent slipping.

We had a wonderful experience at 桔子酒店（潮州古城人民廣場店）. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. Full of orange flavour in hotel such as hand wash, body wash, shampoo, hair conditioner, candies and snacks.

The hotel is in a good location, with convenient restaurants around and underground parking spaces. It is a little far from the ancient city, but it is also convenient to call a taxi. If you drive, try not to live near the ancient city. There are many people and cars, traffic jams, and food is expensive. It is more down-to-earth near the hotel. There is a sashimi restaurant opposite Shengji Beef Hotpot. You can order takeout and taste it together in the hotpot restaurant. The beef tastes good, and the sashimi is also good. It is about 500 meters away from the hotel. Xie Bing, the front desk clerk, gave a warm thumbs up!

Loved the hotel. Looked almost brand new. Very European/north american style. Great breakfast. Getting to it was a bit of a detour from the train station because it seems like the main vehicle entrance road does not have a dedicated sidewalk for pedestrians. So, we took a scenic short cut instead of going against traffic on main road. Truthfully, go against traffic as the stretch of road is small- the shirt cut was a bit 'rough'around the edges. Hotel was excellent with great breakfast options.

The hotel's location is good, near to the attractions. It is convenient for travelers. Hotel room is clean, and the lobby provides the free coffee and drinks. Breakfast is tasty and variety.
