Pros: 1. Rooms are comfortable and well-equipped with standard amenities. 2. The hotel and hallways are kept neat and tidy. 3. The lounge area is cozy. 4. The hotel features a historical theme based on the 1860 arrival of indentured Indians, with informative displays throughout. 5. There is a pleasant deck available for relaxation. 6. Very affordable - R550 per night. Cons: 1. The restaurant is a small room; for service, one must approach the Reception desk. Waiters vanish after serving, necessitating a return to Reception for further assistance. 2. The absence of elevators means guests with heavy luggage must carry it up a flight of stairs. 3. The hotel lacks an online reservation system, requiring potential guests to call to book a room.

Booked and paid for our accommodation in February 2022 for a April 2022 function. When we arrived, there was no rooms available. The booking clerk messed up with our booking. We were offered a room that someone had just used. We wait to wait 2 hours for the room to be cleaned. This is not a place I would recommend. Great potential but so poorly managed. Seems like the hotel is being used as a front for something much more.

Stayed there few days as traveling to South Africa for my friend wedding. Hotel was old with no proper renovation. Had breakfast.. unfortunately very low quality food …. Housekeeping was good as used to keep the room properly cleaned but at the same time was not changing the bed linen. Overall not recommended.

It's a very good experience ,the room service was good especially the bell boy prasath is very kind The bathrooms are very good and the swimming pool was so neat the room service was so fast and food is also good

Hotel Savera has a new section which is an Express Takeaway. Their staff is pathetic, the lady that served us was more interested in joining her boyfriend in the carpork. The Food that we ordered, they did not have, They presented us with a bunny (Pic attached), absolutely disgusting, I will not feed it to my dogs. Our waiting time for the disgusting bunny was 1 hour.
