I stayed here in March, I previously reviewed this place but I believe it's had a refresh, it's made no difference. I stayed in a Plus room which wasn't cheap even with no breakfast. In short it's really not great. The auto check in machines don't work so there was sizeable queue at check in. The room is not clean, it clearly isn't cleaned properly and was looking tatty. There is dust and I guess human skin under the bed and down the side of the fridge was disgusting. There were stains on the carpet and mould in the bathroom. Repairs had been bodged and the door stop was hanging off. I emailed a complaint, got an automatic reply stating I would hear within 5 days .....and of course heard nothing. Tells you all you need to know about their attitude to customers.

This hotel has spent a lot on upgrading its social spaces but they need to spend more on upgrading the rooms! We stayed in 103, The Bathroom was mouldy! it smelt like B.O! There was filler on the wall! Blue tak on the TV clearly not cleaned from the last guest and lastly the Tea and coffee was not filled! such a shame as we stayed in the Brentwood one the week before and it was 100% better then this hotel.

Recently returned from a 2 night stay with 2 young kids. The hotel is a perfect location for Ninja Warrior, Air Hop and Swimming Pool / Ice Rink plus city centre. There is a brand new dining area / bar which is open till late. The unlimited breakfasts were very well received. The highlight was the 5 star service from all the staff including Gulio and the super friendly female staff on the day shift who makes amazing toasties. Richard, Sammie, Lizzie & James.

Very welcoming staff, comfortable bed and smart room. We didn't use many facilities as we'd had an eye operation that limited our ability to move around. The staff helped us check in and let us know about food options - whilst there's no room service they can give a meal that can be taken back to your room. The room was fine, coffee machine worked well, bed.very comfortable.

The room was immaculate and the chef, Liz made me my first ever poached egg and it was delicious. Brilliant breakfast, service and stay! Fantastic energy from her and the whole team. All very helpful and friendly and a big thank you! Will be back soon!

A really nice stay, The staff were so lovely and very helpful - Karis, Joanna. Food was great plant burger was so nice - care of Raymond. Would definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant. From check in to advice on where to go it was lovely.
