It was exceptionally cozy; the entire hotel was bathed in warm light, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. As Chengde was our first stop on the trip, returning to the hotel and experiencing this ambiance felt wonderful. The bed was also very comfortable, and my parents thought it was great. The hotel is very close to Lao San Yang Tang (Old Three Lamb Soup), just a five-minute walk away. Parking is a little inconvenient, though, as the road in front of the hotel is somewhat narrow; first-time drivers should be careful not to go the wrong way.
