Best Chengde Hotels

Whether in the corridor or the lobby, they will greet each other when they meet, which feels very comfortable. 6. The hotel is well managed and the hygiene is very good. The facilities can be seen to be a few years old, but they are still clean and tidy, and elegant.

Two rooms and two bathrooms in the second floor building are very convenient. The homestay is in the Lotus Mountain Scenic Area. The outside is very beautiful. There is no supporting dining around. There is a restaurant in the back. The dishes are not bad. The elderly like this environment. If you need breakfast for 25 yuan per person, you can order it with the boss in advance, and sometimes it can be delivered to the room. There are side dishes staple porridge eggs and so on.

The courtyard of the hotel is bright and spacious, and the parent-child room with a small courtyard is very satisfactory. The service is excellent. Pros: - Helpful, responsive and friendly staff. - Delicious restaurant ! Love their food. - There are McD and BK nearby if you want to have fast food during the trip. Cons: - There was a gecko coming out from the tent in our parent child room. It went under the bed and we couldn't find it. The first night, I couldn't sleep because of afraid it would come to us. When we searched the gecko, we saw plastic and bottle under the bed. I guess they don't clean the room properly. Conclusion : Overall this hotel is good for us during our Chengde trip. We're happy.

I was very satisfied. I booked a family room with four beds. Two children stayed in one room, and my husband and I stayed in another room. There was a door between the two rooms. The hotel is very close to the Mountain Resort, and the view from the hotel room window is also very good. The facilities in the room are a bit old, but I was very satisfied with the family room I booked during the peak tourist season. When I left, I left a backpack in the room. The environment is garden-style, each room has a different view, the waiters are very enthusiastic, helping with luggage, and there is a special person responsible for taking you to the room. The service attitude is very good, the breakfast is very rich, and I especially like to eat rice noodles. There is a Rolls-Royce and a Bentley at the door.

My experience was overall good, but the bathroom of the room I booked for the first night (single, queen bed) was so stinky at night that I could not bear it. I called the concierge, and the maid came to clean the bathroom (they were very fast= good service) but the problem is in the pipes, not in the cleanliness, (it was very clean) so spraying a bit of air freshener won't solve the problem. I changed rooms the following night. Also, it was quite noisy at night and in the early morning, they should keep an eye on noisy guests. Last thing, but not less important, people were smoking inside the hotel corridors and it was stinky. The management should try to enforce the rules of non-smoking. I understand that know nobody in the hotel wants to call on the smoking clients, but not enforcing the law results in other clients being unhappy too. All in all, I would probably stay there again.

Although breakfast is a buffet, the waiters are very diligent and take the initiative to help guests get food and tableware. They are not idle for a moment. The hotel has a main building and another annex building behind it. The facilities may be a bit older than the newly renovated hotel. I saw a comment saying that the bathroom inside still has a bathtub, so I specially chose a room type without a bathtub. The room is also clean. The location is very good, just opposite the entrance of the Summer Resort, Lizheng Gate, and next to it is a large shopping mall, Jinlong Plaza. There is a RT-Mart supermarket in the basement of Jinlong Plaza, which is very convenient for eating and shopping. The bus from Chengde Distribution Center to Jinshanling Great Wall is just opposite the Lizheng Gate parking lot. There are various buses at the entrance of the hotel, going to Chengde Museum, Little Potala Palace, and Puning Temple.

After we arrived that morning, we had lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant. The food was very delicious and the service attitude of the restaurant chef was superb. The interior of the hotel is in a garden style with carved beams and painted buildings, which is beautiful. The room is warm and comfortable, and it feels like home. If I have the opportunity to visit Chengde in the future, I will definitely stay here again.
