We stayed here 3 times during our whole trip. Checked out to go to huanglong jiuzhaigou and also dujiangyan. But other times that we were in Chengdu, we stayed here. There is a laundry room in level 5. They provide complimentary detergent and softener. There is 2 washer and 1 dryer which is accessible at all times. It is very convenient. 10 to 15 mins to metro and bus stops.

I stayed at the Wan'ao Hotel (Chengdu Chunxi Road Taikoo Li Branch) for two nights in March 2025. While the breakfast was good and the staff were friendly, that does not make up for the unacceptable condition of the room. The bedsheets looked like they had been chewed by RATS, especially near the head area, which was deeply disturbing. An exposed electrical cable was hanging from the wall, the shower was completely covered in limescale and almost unusable, and mold was clearly visible in the bathroom grout. The ceiling was crumbling and had strange discoloration, and the hallway carpet was filthy, stained, and uneven, giving the whole place a neglected and unhygienic feel.
I reached out to the hotel requesting a partial refund or price reduction, but they showed no willingness to take responsibility or offer any compensation. Despite the friendly staff, there was no accountability for the poor state of the room. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone who values cleanliness, safety, or basic comfort.

The hotel room is huge and clean, particularly the toilet.(More hooks for clothes will be better). Equipped with smart home system to control lighting and curtains, my family had fun abusing (?) the smart system. Only one negative experience I had during my stay was the floor and mugs wasn't cleaned and replaced, but front office promptly resolved the issue for us.
The hotel location is nearly perfect. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets right beside the hotel for your breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack. 7mins walking distance to Chunxi Road. 40yuan to take cab from the hotel to Panda Base, 150-180yuan to TianFu international airport. There is also a post office nearby if you want to send your postcard.

The place is just 2 units next to the popular Tao Lin restaurant. Service ladies were polite and helpful and they even provided WeChat customer service num for convenient contact.
The room AC was fully customisable to own needs.
Personally I don't like low floors and I stayed on level 2. During the first day, the Reno knocking sounds from next door building was intensive and subsequently died down on the following days. Nights were quiet nonetheless which is good for rest.
The place is between two stations Chunxi Road and Tianfu stations. So it's convenient, about 1o min walk.

the staffs are so helpfull, they cant speak english but talk with us via baidu translate.. the room, the bed, pillows, everything was good. you can walk to chunxi road, and the hotel surround with restaurant and convenience store.

Its a nice professionally run centrally based hotel, eith all the usual and necessary attributes, nice comfy pillows, midern bathroom, very bright large windows, with automatic curtains.
will definitely come back, the elevator will soon be repaired , and replaced by a quiet smooth and fast latest model.
