Ibis Hotel (Chengdu Taikoo Li Chunxi Road)

The room was nice and big with a couch. Our rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels and 4 new bottles of water. There are also additional bottles of water in lobby for guests if you need more. We never bought any water when staying at the IBIS. The staff spoke some english which helped because my chinese wasn't poor. The breakfast buffet was very good value for $25RMB each. You have access to lots of food choices noodles, wontons, congee, fruit, coffee, yogurt drinks. We ended buying the buffet as extra each day because it was good value. There is complimentary laundry facilities. I did a load of washing and dryed it at the IBIS hotel. A gym room is available with bikes, running machines, weights and etc. I am not a gym buff so can describe it all but it was adequately equiped to me.

Good things first: The location is really good and the price is affordable. The breakfast is affordable and offers a very basic standard breakfast. Coffee machine is very basic also. The room was spacious as you can see on the photos. Cleaning staff did a great job and was always friendly. Two free washing machines and dryer. One washing machine was not working tho. Not good: - Around every 30 minutes there was a very loud noise coming from outside the window that would last for another 30 minutes. The window didn’t have any view, it faced a wall of another building. Luckily this noise stopped after 10pm, otherwise I would have left or change the room because the noise (seems like from a machine or AirCon) was really loud. - People are smoking on the hotel floor next to other rooms and the staff doesn’t say anything. The entire floor smells like smoke. Extremely bad, careless and just terrible behavior of this individual. The staff should have said something to him or charge him money. In my country, I would have confronted this person myself. - Front desk staff, especially the boys, didn’t seem so friendly or trained. When I checked out they didn’t say a SINGLE word. They just took the card. Please have at least a LITTLE hospitality.

Clean room, good view, little to hard if go with the luggage from Chunxi rd station because you have to cross the bride and cross the road in the right way. The room is very large which is good. But when i arrived the room ready just one room at 16:00 and we have to wait for another room after 17:00.

I am very pleased with my stay. The room is clean and comfortable. The service staff are excellent. The location is convenient. Great breakfast. Highly recommended

Staff generally yound and energetic. Very helpful on staying and getting around matters. The room is clean and large. Kind of like express hotel. Location wise, it is in between tianfu square and chunxi road. Consider ok. A few street away u can see old but good looking post office building, theather and a lot of local stores. Many local food store.

The hotel location is perfect for downtown visit and sight seeing. It's 600m away from ChunXi Road and Taiguli and 815m from Tianfu Square. You can access to the city center by walking and quite a few tourist spot is located nearby walking distance.
