Good location, amazing breakfast - unfortunately all this and it's good service cannot make it a newer building. There is quite a bit of clonking, water rushing and clanking and humming going on like you would expect from old tenement buildings.

Hotel was holding a beverage-kind exhibition in the main lobby and exterior throughout our 3-days stay resulting in inconvenience e.g. workers setup booths inside and outside hotel causing mobility and noise issues.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Crowne Plaza Chengdu, and overall, it was a very satisfying experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm and professional service. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I was promptly shown to my room.
The room itself was spacious, well-appointed, and offered all the amenities you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring Chengdu. The bathroom was clean and modern, with a great shower that had strong water pressure—a small detail that makes a big difference.
One of the standout features of Crowne Plaza Chengdu is its excellent location. It’s situated right in the heart of the city, making it easy to access popular attractions, shopping centers, and restaurants. This convenience made my stay even more enjoyable, as I could easily walk or take a short ride to wherever I needed to go.
The hotel's dining options were also impressive. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of both Western and Chinese dishes, ensuring that there was something for everyone. The quality of the food was high, and I particularly enjoyed the fresh pastries and local specialties.
The facilities at Crowne Plaza Chengdu are top-notch. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the indoor pool was a great place to relax after a long day. I also appreciated the business center, which made it easy to catch up on work when needed.
While the hotel is slightly older, it is well-maintained, and the charm of the classic design adds to the overall experience.
In summary, Crowne Plaza Chengdu exceeded my expectations in terms of service, comfort, and convenience. It’s a great choice for both business and leisure travelers, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Chengdu.

We booked a room again after a few days stayed with the Crowne hotel although there was a little problem with our room as the room temperature was very warm and cannot adjust by guest. But it was very impressive with care and action that was taken by the hotel staff after we told them when we were checking out from the hotel. The explanation was given by male staff at that time and the most important is my comments was really taken to their consideration right away during my 2nd stay with the Crowne especially Bellin Liu, who was very pleasant, nice smile, very polite and very informative. She also offering welcome drinks and our breakfast with a great deal. Christina Li is also one of a great receptionist who was taken care us during our 2nd time at the hotel with care and concern, the room with a better temperature was assigned to us. Some care was given to us to meet our expectations. The last but not least is Tina who was also very pleasant and showed her care even after we checked out already. I would like to rate all of the Crowne hotel staff at 5 stars and I will definitely come back again when I am in Chengdu.
The Crowne hotel is also recommended to guest who has never visited this hotel yet. Great location, excellent service, beyond’s expectations staff, variety selection for breakfast, spacious room.
