"Good location of the hotel. Excellent vegetarian food. Service is very good. They employ a number of differently abled persons. I admire this humane attitude of the management. Rooms are good. A little bit of refurbishing of the bathrooms would make this even more attractive. Overall i would like to use this hotel for my future visits to chennai. "The room was neat and clean, and provided with all basic toilet items and running hot water. Centrally located, very close to egmore station & metro and 10 minutes away from chennai central rely stn. Surprisingly, the central ac was like so very effective, that i had to switch it off! the reception staff were also good snd courteous."

"In trip.com I had requested for airport pickup, but Hotel did not turn up and when I called them they said they were not aware. I had to schedule my own after landing. In-room dining they kept calling me to ask if I’ve eaten so that they can send someone to clear the plate. That’s very annoying."

"Disappointing Experience with the In-House Nightclub Overall, my stay at this hotel was good, but my experience with their in-house nightclub left a lot to be desired. When I tried to enter, I was abruptly informed that it was ”couples only”—a policy that was not mentioned anywhere on their website when I booked. If the nightclub is advertised as part of the hotel’s amenities, it should be clearly stated that solo male travelers are not welcome. To make matters worse, the staff at the entrance were extremely rude. They asked me to move aside so a couple—who weren’t even hotel guests—could enter, while simultaneously demanding an absurd 10,000 INR entry fee from me. I’ve been to some of the top clubs around the world and have never paid even half that amount for entry. When I raised my concerns with the front desk, the response was dismissive. One of the staff members simply said, ”Stags are not allowed.” I found the term both unprofessional and unnecessary. This lack of hospitality and fairness was disappointing enough that I’ve advised my friends—who had upcoming reservations—to cancel their stay. If you're looking for a more premium and welcoming experience, I’d strongly recommend Leela Palace instead."
