We had a beautiful and comfortable stay at this friendly affordable village inn. Would love to stay here again! Walking distance to Chenonceau so we were the first ones in and got to come rest and swim then go back for more castle time! Walked from and back to the train from Paris to get here!

We loved our time at La Roserie. It was a great base for our group cycle tour. Lovely breakfast with all the trimmings, pool to relax around and a delicious dinner in the garden. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

The best option in Chenonceaux. The staff are lovely, the garden is shady and peaceful, and the pool is very refreshing after a hot day sightseeing. Just a couple of minutes walk from the chateau. Easy parking at the back. No regrets staying here.

The hotel is charming with a nice enclosed garden but the restaurant is to be avoided. The fish served to my wife was barely eatable (she tried but couldn’t finish it) and the desert (called « millefeuille ») a disgrace to French cuisine. As one of our friends said : « They are taking advantage of the captive audience ».

We have been staying at La Roseraie for over 30 years (over 40 years since I first stayed there) and have always had a friendly welcome, comfortable rooms and good food. The current owner welcomes us as friends and we enjoy chatting to her. It makes the long journey to the Dordogne easy as it is about half way to our usual destination (my parents house) and perfect for a one of two night stay on our way to and from the south west.

We have stayed at La Roseraie since I was a teenager (that is a very long time ago!) and have seen owners come and go but the hotel remains a comfortable and friendly place to stay over on our way to and from the Dordognes region where my parents live. The rooms are spacious and clean, the restaurant serves good food, the staff are friendly and overall it is good value for money.
