The staff here speak good English and are very warm and friendly with a good sense of humour. The hotel is quite old fashioned. Whilst clean, the room was cramped and the bathroom was akin to a walk-in wardrobe In dimensions. The shelves in the bedroom were loose and wobbly. The WiFi only worked on the ground floor of the building. But for the price, one couldn’t grumble too much. It was an adequate stay. Be aware that the traffic noise from the street outside is very intrusive and doesn’t calm down until late. Apart from that, you leave feeling you have had a genuine French experience which you don’t get in a chain hotel.

Location was excelent , easy to find, signage in the town Receptionist was professional, polite and good english speaker. Clean beddings and bathroom Excellent breakfast ( fresh croissant and baguettes ).

Warm and functional hotel, but insufficient lighting and musty smell. Hot water immediately available. Located in the liveliest area of Cherbourg Good coffee, excellent croissants and delicious yogurts

Very very dirty carpet, very dirty and dark attached bathroom, cramped toilets. The worst part is you hear everything the neighbors do, we hear everything. The welcome is perfect, very friendly and the breakfast is very good.

A very nice little hotel well located in a quiet and pleasant area. At the same time a little set back from the tourist routes but while remaining at the heart of events and close to the old districts of Cherbourg which have a lot of charm.

Located in the center of Cherbourg, ideal for spending good evenings in a restaurant/bar. Bathroom a little small, but this is an old Hotel very well maintained and clean. Good value for money.
