Smoky Mountain Inn & Suites

The hot tub was not working and we received NO maid service at all. I had to go to the front desk 4 times and ask for bathroom amenities, coffee and made my own bed. The maid service is what I look forward to when on vacation. The bed was very hard so I went back to the front desk a d ask for extr pillows.

I travel with my aunt and kids. My aunt is disabled and had bowel movement during the night and had messed up on herself while sleeping. She cleaned herself and went to front desk and asked for another sheets so after she cleaned up she took the dirty linens and towels to the front desk and the next day the front desk charged me 150.00$ I went to the desk and asked why and they said because the sheets and towels were damaged . I said she have disabilities and she didn’t know we used it on herself and she does not do this all the time. And the front desk clerk said she should’ve wear depends I said she does. So after we check out and head home the hotel calls and say they trying to refund my 150$ I said go ahead and then it’s like your card is lock I said it’s not but I seeing where it’s declining. And they asked if I have another card I said I have a cashapp card she said if you have at least 40$ in it your account my computer can refund you I said ok and gave her the card number then she said around 3:30 the other clerk will be in to help me. I checked my account about hour later and the hotel had taken 40$ from my account. So I called the hotel and the clerk just started saying yall just left with a damage room. I said what?? She said y’all left fresh feces in the room and urine in the other bed. I said no we didn’t. She said I have pictures and I said I have pictures too. And I said you don’t have to talk to me rudley and she it’s y’all Mississippi Choctaws fxxk hotel rooms and disgrace to Indian Country I’m Cherokee and I know how y’all are. She was steadily cussing and I hung up o e her.

Indoor pool & hot tub area clean free from trash floating in both . (Main door to enter enclosed pool & hot tub was broken in half at top of door . Enter thru sliding glass doors) The one and only elevator Had 3 pieces of CLEAR DUCK TUBE HOLDING MAIN PANEL TOGATHER AND NO ELEVATOR PERMIT SHOWING OR LAST TIME IT WAS INSPECTIONED ! 2ND FLOOR pespi machine is 0.75 a for canned pespi products. That made stay ! Rooms appeared cleaned , no breakfast during week . Friendly Staff !!

The Smokey Mountains Inn & Suites while relatively new and is somewhat nice, it has the same amenities and conditions of a hotel built 30 or 40 years ago. Start at the front door, it is manual NOT automatic, bringing in luggage is a nightmare. The hotel staff is so undermanned no one can help you. The room while clean and sufficient was in no way comparable to other hotels that are as new as this one. We were thoroughly disappointed in a four-year-old hotel that looked more like a 1970 hotel.
