The bed is so comfortable and the linen and towels are such good quality. The pictures don’t do the rooms justice, the lay out is a little bit off putting at first seeing doors and minimal windows but I had one of the most cozy nights. There does need to be an outside area to sit as we ended up sitting outside of the closed cafe. Rooms are absolutely spotless! We enjoyed a beautiful breakfast at foxes cafe that is on site. Would recommend and fantastic value for the price.

Great. Spotless cosy room. Very large comfortable bed. Lovely clean and well done bathroom! Can park right outside. Less than 10 mins from Chester central. Very friendly check in lady. Would 100% stay here again. Each room has its own front door which is lovely. Much nice room than the pictures show.

We stayed there for 7 nights as it was handy for visiting family nearby Overall, it turned out to be a very good choice. We stayed in one of the mews and it was very clean with all the extras you would expect as standard. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, there are a few minor issues that would make this 5 star but not enough to put us off returning. Breakast is extra and is served at a cafe on the site. It is good value and always hot. According to the website, breakfast is available daily but it does close on a Monday, so beware. The website needs amending. A mini fridge in the room would be a bonus even for fresh milk as we found the long life milk to be off sometimes. A safety issue is the sheer basin which we found to be very slippery due to the shower gel container dripping down. The grouting needs cleaned as well in places. But no hesitation in returning here

Perfect place for our first family camping trip. Clean showers, toilets, sink area and site. Camping hook up and water available on all pitches. Very good space to pitch tent and park car. Friendly and helpful staff and a short drive or bus ride to Chester. Would stay here again in the future.

What a lovely and efficient place to stay. Regular emails to ensure my arrival was easy. I arrived late, had instructions where to find room, key and parking. Clean and tidy. Good strong shower. What’s not to like. Very pleasant Italian restaurant half a mile down the road. Similarly on early leaving next day, I had instructions where to leave key and off I went. Added bonus that where I needed to be was only five minutes away! Wish I’d been there the two nights I was in Chester, but had grotty hotel booked already which really highlighted how lovely this place was. Thankyou

Absolutely awful. We had stayed 5 years ago. And thought it might be a good place to stay again. Unfortunately not the shower wasn't clean. The pillows, duvet, mattress cover all had so much yellow staining Advertised as luxury mews accommodation, it definitely isn't. We were unlucky enough to have the noisiest downs neighbour, so definitely no sound proofing. Constantly shouting , singing, talking so loudly until we'll after 3.30am. So we had no sleep. And although no-one would have known the neighbour had no thought fir the rest of us staying there. It was an awful experience we stayed one night of two we are offered no refund as apparently, we should have got in touch with the owners. We weren't in until late. We were tired, last thing people need it having to get fresh bedding, a cleaner in etc. I was told we only made a bad review after receiving no refund. But that is not true. The bad review was happening anyway to warn others to AVOID staying at this place. 🙃

Great place to stop for a night as we did twice before. This time we were dissapointed. Mattress cover was stained with wee and blood. Rung the owner who said it had been washed and was quite adamant the mattress cover was fine and said most places have stained covers. He was quite argumentative about it. He eventually sent a cleaner to replace cover. Cleaner was quite apologetic about state of cover. Feel the owner should have apologised rather than lose his rag!!

Really good accommodation with everything needed. Easy to find, easy access to the room, excellent shower and comfy beds. Breakfast very good too Parking on site and close to Chester zoo which is what we needed.
