Anniversary away break. Location on edge of Chester close to motorway.
Nice grounds, busy carpark and popular venue for parties and business guests.
Carpet on second floor dirty and smells.
Sink kept blocking because plug holes full of scum.
Toilet seat incorrect size and not secured properly.
Bed comfortable, nice towels tea and instant coffee and bottles of water in room.
Breakfast nice selection BUT no fresh decaffeinated coffee only instant granules yuk!!! Nothing worse than awful coffee!!! With so many decent decaffeinated options available and customers not drinking caffeine this is totally unacceptable.

Double tree by Hilton is the nicest hotel I’ve stayed at by far! The staff were so lovely upon arrival and anything we needed they was happy to help :). The spa was out of this world and the room was so spacious and clean. We will definitely be back ❤️🩹

Very disappointment with the service and facilities.
We booked this hotel because of the swimming pool. We are a family of four planned to swim with kids.
Unfortunately, when we check-in, the receptionist told us under 16 cannot use the swimming pool.
Secondly, we asked someone for setting up the cot bed for us. The lady came at first asked my husband if he knew how to set it himself.
After my husband said No, the lady pissed off.
It was an "AMAZING" service we had for four stars hotel.
If we knew these, we definitely would not choose this hotel.

Check in was very easy and hassle free with three members of staff checking guests in. We arrived well before check in time of 15:00hrs but no early check in rooms were available so we had to return later to check in.
Room size was adequate with comfy bed and quality pillows ensuring good rest.
Hotel is very clean and is well staffed, only downside is the location that its not walking distance to the city centre but this is not a deal breaker due to parking at this hotel being a lot easier on the outskirts of the city centre.

Very clean very beautiful and very good service. Beautiful terrace to drink your coffee in the morning. We stayed in a superior king bedroom and it was honestly so clean and comfortable and relaxing
