Very convenient location, within walking distance to shops, cafes and pubs. The Owner Mike was Friendly and warm so was the other staff, my room was very clean and cozy, had all the amenities in it. The building has an old charm, I had a lovely stay.

I always stay here when I'm in Chester. Stayed for 6 weeks whilst I was working and always find it comfy, friendly and affordable. The owner Mike is super helpful accommodating, as well as quick to respond to any issues that might come up. I will be back the next time I'm in Chester!

This was budget with a capital B. It was not very comfortable and the beds did not seem clean. People were wandering around outside the room at night and it did not feel safe. Facilities in the room such as TV were poor. This is not a guest house I would advise you to stay in.

Booked here as near a wedding we were attending. Owner was surprised we were a couple so said there was an extra £10 surcharge ( for 2 people in a double bed rather than one ??? ) completely unnecessary. No breakfast available (how can it be called a B and B ?) Room cold with no way of putting heating on. Shower lukewarm. Avoid at all costs. I wish I’d got a taxi home instead.
