Premier Inn Chester (Railway Station)

Overall a nice central hotel ,quiet well run establishment ,on arrival I enquired about car parking facilities as on the premier in site that was advertised on trip dot com it read that parking was free,I was told parking was payable by the staff on reception,which if had I known I would have arrived by train as I was staying 3 nights and this added an extra 36 ish pounds on top off my room fee.

This hotel is in a great location for Chester City centre and the train station. The room was clean and staff were courteous and helpful.

Convenient for the station and city centre. Smaller Premier Inn with just three floors and our view was to the main road. No noise issues. We had a plus room and only issue was one set of towels (quickly supplied with a second set) and a mirror light not working. Able to do early check in to make the most of our stay. Had breakfast which was up to the usual standards and filled us up for the day ahead. Plenty of good places to eat so didn’t try evening meal. Room was ok although reliance on air con for ventilation. Left bags with the hotel on checkout to make the most of our final day. Have seen mention of the need to use subways to get to town. Or back to the hotel..however You can cross the roads instead or even go down the canal to reach the other end of town where The Lock Keeper pub is, near Tesco. Didn’t feel unsafe walking back at night when not using the subway.

Positives , great location for town restaurants & shops , staff are welcoming Comfy bed The car park under the hotel doesn’t belong to premier inn , we paid £15 after arriving in the afternoon we was lucky to get a space but we walked everywhere and left the car there over night that’s with a £2.50 discount . The car park is very small & can only accomodate 12 cars , we had to park in the queens car park down the rd on our second night which was £15 over night .Its a 5 minute walk with 150 spaces Negatives : Our hotel room was on the 2nd floor we were given a disabled room ,the towels smelt smoky and the bathroom had a urine smell not very nice the shower wasnt very good the head seemed blocked . The room window doesnt open , the walls are also thin and we were woken early hours by a screaming baby this can’t be helped I know . We had breakfast on our first morning which is a typical continental or full fry up

Absolutely amazing stay at Premier Inn Chester Railway Station. Room was so lovely and clean and modern. Kashia who checked us in was so helpful, she lent me a charger as I forgot mine which was such a nice gesture. Drinks was great before we went out. This hotel is just a quick walk away from Chester City Centre which was ideal for us. Highly recommend this hotel. Team and room was top, top notch. Thank you.
