Ingmon House

We liked that the room was nicely decorated and not very worn. The bathroom was big enough and the shower was separated from the rest of the bathroom by a glass pane. The staff was friendly and the WiFi worked well and reliably. We were not at all impressed by the breakfast. It was very poor. Unfortunately there was no buffet, you could only choose from two dishes. A plate with some scrambled eggs, two smoky-tasting sausages, two small slices of toast with salted butter and salad without dressing. It sounds like a lot at first, but it isn't, it doesn't fill you up. The other option would be small pieces of chicken instead of eggs. You have to choose this the evening before. You are also supposed to say a time, but it is questionable why, because if you arrive at that time nothing is prepared and you have to wait another 15-20 minutes until you get this "breakfast". If you have planned an excursion with a start time or want to leave, this is extremely inappropriate. For breakfast there is 100ml of juice and a banana. With such salty food, this tiny amount of juice is of course not enough. But when you ask for juice again, there is none left. Other guests, however, get something afterwards... strange. If you ask for toast, it takes ages again (10 minutes) and then you get 4-6 small slices for a whole table. They don't have jam, we were told. There is only salty butter. The toilet next to reception is dirty and has no toilet paper. It's a shame that breakfast is so meager and long-winded; it is served in a beautiful garden and the hotel is otherwise really nice, but after this experience at breakfast, we will not come back. You don't get full, it takes ages and after several days you just can't stand the sight of this breakfast anymore.
