Chotana Villa Hotel Chiang Mai

Although the hotel is about 10 minutes' drive north of the ancient city, you can go anywhere as long as you rent a motorcycle. This time I stayed in a twin room without breakfast. There was only one chair and a small round table in the twin room, which was a bit insufficient. However, the room has a bathtub, but the bathtub drain in room 203 where I stayed was not tightly sealed. After plugging the plug, you can pull up the tin cover of the drain hole and see the water pipe directly below, which means you don't have to think about taking a bath. I tried to drain the water for 20 minutes and there was only a little water because the water was all gone 😅 The water temperature is probably the hottest in Chiang Mai hotels I have stayed in, but the water temperature is also crazy, it is super hot and then warm water, or even cold water, taking a bath is like taking a sauna. The design of the bathroom's dry and wet separation is problematic. It's the first time I've seen one without a door. When taking a shower, you have to be careful not to spill water outside, because there is no door between the bathroom and the room, and they are separated by a curtain (creating a romantic feeling?) The bathroom floor is not sloped enough, so water will accumulate on the other side of the drain hole, and you need to use your feet to splash the water over. Fortunately, the water did not overflow and flood the room area. Apart from these minor shortcomings, I personally like the overall feeling of this room and would like to come back and stay there again.

The room is good, comfortable to sleep in, clean, has a hot tub, a hair dryer, and a swimming pool. It's good that the lights are beautiful at night.
