Sunshine House

In the old town I came to Santitham and stayed like a local for 6 nights. The facilities and cleanliness were a bit disappointing, though. You will be welcomed in a friendly manner, so you can stay happily and then move on.

I liked it so much that I used it again. It was clean and the towels were soft and comfortable. Considering the cost of accommodation, the water pressure in the shower was weak, but it was acceptable.

I stayed in room 301. I was worried because the price was low, but I'm very satisfied with the price of a private guesthouse. The front staff was also very friendly and gave us lots of information. I also got to interact with the signboard cat, TAWAN, so it was an irresistible stay in Chiang Mai for a cat lover like me. It took about 20 minutes from the airport and cost 150BT by meter taxi. The Santiam area where the hotel is located was more crowded with young locals than tourists. It's within walking distance of the old city, so it's recommended for people who are mainly planning on sightseeing in northern Chiang Mai. In addition, there are many restaurants near the hotel, and there is a 7-Eleven and a supermarket nearby, so you will not have any trouble finding food or drinks. A coin laundry is also available on the 1st floor. The small washing machine was out of order, so I used the large one and it was 40BT. At night, I fell asleep listening to the chorus of frogs. I would like to use it again when staying in Chiang Mai.
