Centara Riverside Hotel Chiang Mai

Centara Riverside is my go to place to stay whenever I’m in Chiang Mai. Staff are amazing. Always courteous, sweet, helpful. It’s always spotless, rooms are huge for the price. Beds are super comfy. Restaurant has decent food and selections. Can’t wait to stay with you again soon. GR Edelstein

The staff were exceptional, rivaling the best professionals in New York and Paris.   They were all attentive, open, helpful,                                                                                                          polite, considerate and cooperative.  I have nothing negative to say, at all.    One comment I'd like to make has to do with acoustics.  Whenever someone in a neighboring room would take an article of clothing off a hanger in the closet, the sound of the swinging hanger hitting the shallow wall would reverberate in my room.  Perhaps the closet walls could be made more solid or insulated for sound.  That's all.

Room was clean but a bit dated. Location was good and easy to get to. There were several 7-elevens in the area, so it was easy to find snacks and other essentials.

I asked for a room on high floor with view, and I was not disappointed : my room has about 250 degrees, 3/4 full glass windows, with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Super spacious too! During day hours, there is a Western style cafe located just opposite the main entrance. There is a local market and many food stalls about 50-100m away, along the main road, towards the right of the hotel's main entrance. Nothing much else of interest in the immediate vicinity. For more touristy stuff, would have to take short tutu rides.

It is a very nice and well maintained hotel with very friendly ready to help staff. Conveniently situated close to tourist spots.
