It is super close to the White Temple. The crossroads are past. You can watch the sunset and watch the sunrise. You can also avoid the crowds early in the morning.
The room is average, just an ordinary scenic homestay in China. There are several snack bars on the first floor, and the upstairs is accommodation. The boss and his wife are stalled. At night, the surrounding shops were closed. The proprietress re-opened and made two bowls of noodle soup, and also sent free water. Now during the New Year holiday, the White Temple 8：00-17：30 opens the door.

A motel, the overall environment is good, close to the White Temple. The room facilities are basically complete. The sanitation is average, and the bathroom smells bad. The two customer service aunts have a very good attitude. There is no breakfast, no electric kettle, please bring enough water if you want to stay.

We spent five nights at Sooknirund Hotel and had a lovely, relaxing stay. The hotel is beautifully designed with a mix of modern and vintage charm, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully put together. The inclusion of a cafetière in the room was a particularly nice touch.
There are some great features throughout the hotel, including a small but well-equipped gym, and a cosy library room with a Nespresso machine, which made for a peaceful spot to unwind.
While the stay was very comfortable overall, the breakfast was the one slight letdown. It’s à la carte, and you pre-select your dish at reception the night before. While the menu is varied, the quality and availability were inconsistent. On some mornings, there was juice, toast, and cereal alongside the main dish, while on others, these extras were nowhere to be seen, which was disappointing.
Late check-out wasn’t available, which would have been appreciated, but the staff were consistently warm, friendly, and welcoming, and that made a big difference.
In short, Sooknirund Hotel is a stylish and comfortable base in Chiang Rai, and we would happily stay again, we just hope breakfast becomes a little more consistent.

The Central Guesthouse Chiang Rai was recently renovated in 2024, making it a fantastic choice for those staying in Chiang Rai. The hotel is just 10km away from Chiang Rai International Airport. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the พิพิธภัณฑ์ทหาร มณฑลทหารบกที่ 37, Chiang Rai Night Bazaar and Darulaman Mosque Chiang Rai - 清萊府雲南المسجد الصيني بشيانغ راي清真寺 all nearby. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. According to our trusted guests, the facilities at this hotel are first-rate.

The hostel is really nice, beds are comfortable and the staff is really helpfull. The location is really nice, near the bus station but unfortunately bear to some bars, so in the night you can hear a few noises for the music. It is clean and have a good place where you can chill or work with the pc

The hotel is very close to the bus station and only two streets away from the famous night market. It can be said that it is very close. The room is clean and spacious, and the sanitary environment is tidy. Especially the little girl at the front desk is not only warm and hospitable, but also pretty and lively. Can speak simple Chinese and is self-study. As the number of Chinese traveling to Thailand continues to increase, I hope this lively and cute little sister can entertain guests in fluent Chinese. Now that she has chosen this career and many foreign languages, I hope her dreams come true.
