We stayed for a week in May and it was indeed a great experience. The hotel has extensive grounds, several restaurants and large indoor and outdoor pools. The location with views of the Chiemsee is just great. Special thanks to Ms. Helm at Reception - she made us welcome from our arrival and was extremely helpful all through our stay, making sure every wish is swiftly fulfilled and also giving us useful tips to enjoy the area.

On this busy weekend it shows again how important staffing and training of the hotel employees is. We waited a long time to check in as no one was around. Then the outdoor pool was overfilled with guests and no one tried to clean up the towels or chaises. The dinner service was confused and uncoordinated. Rude service waiters yelled at us to wait outside and to get out of their way! Not an experience we expected. No supervising manager was around. We won’t come back here.

Absolutely perfect in every way. Thanks guys! Evolution equestrian had a great time. We will be back. Lots of restaurants to choose from, lots of activities, great equestrian atmosphere and definitely the place to go to wind down. Lots to see and do around the area.

We felt comfortable all around! The furnishings are wonderful, the cleanliness is impeccable and the service is good. The breakfast is particularly outstanding - really top quality! I can also highly recommend the Goldener Pflug restaurant. The spa is wonderful and well-kept. The entire complex is simply fantastic and invites you to go on a little tour of discovery from the stud farm to the golf course. Of course, the beautiful Chiemsee is not far away either. The internet is also really good. I was able to work here without any problems. For me, the price-performance ratio is absolutely right here and I can really only recommend Gut Ising to everyone (including families or business travelers, for example)! We would love to come back!

We spontaneously decided to spend a night at Gut Ising and we didn't regret it. A sundowner on the terrace of the Il Cavallo restaurant, then a quick dip in the swimming pool and later in the evening we ate at the Goldener Pflug. In the morning we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace. I rarely write reviews, but this is appropriate. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, really not too expensive for the standard. The room was a decent size. The service in the hotel was really good. The complex is very well maintained and the location - although not directly on the lake - is wonderfully quiet and surrounded by greenery. From Il Cavallo you can also see the lake and the mountains. We would have liked to have stayed another night - but unfortunately we couldn't do that. Now we will just come back again for a longer "hide out" weekend.

Anyone who appreciates the ambience of an old manor house is in good hands here. The staff is friendly, helpful and competent. The food in the hotel's restaurants is excellent. Given the number of guests, the wellness area was completely overcrowded, especially since many guests simply put towels on the loungers and reserve them for the whole day. But that's the case in many hotels. Overall, recommended for a short vacation. Of course, riders dominate there. Dog owners also feel at home. But I would go there again.

Very well-kept hotel "in the country" with a view of Lake Chiemsee. Modern hotel rooms and a great wellness/sauna area. Traditional but modern! Purely feel-good atmosphere. Extensive grounds with lots of nature... an experience even with a small child because there is a horse farm attached. We had a great short vacation here with the family.
