If you choose this are similar hotels, you have to stay there only without moving other places. its very difficult to go with your own vehicle such hotels Each time you have to depend on hotel jeep and they charge more than your imagination. Also be care full while purchasing honey form such places, they selling jaggery syrup only. We purchased honey bottles from home stay hotel near to Uttunga home stay hotel they cheated by saying its taken from forest and good when we open in home its bad smell and found jaggery in it Be careful and get more detail while going such places

Simple functional rooms and bathrooms - nothing fancy but spotlessly clean, wholesome and tasty food, pleasant and helpful staff - this is what Uttunga Home Stay is about. The views from the place are breathtaking - we were there in December and the view of the foggy hills early morning was magical.Would like to place on record a word of appreciation for Viswanath and his wife - their hospitality is world class! Also the driver Narsimha - most helpful gentleman. If you are looking to do the Kudremukh trek, the staff will help you with getting permits too. Otherwise, just check in, chill and enjoy the views.
