We stayed at the beautiful renovated property amidst lush green forest located in the malnad area. We had the most wonderful welcome ushered on us with the Hotel manager Mr.Shadab Khan and the front desk manager Mr.Debanjan Basu themselves extending a warm welcome coupled with a bouquet and a welcome drink. The hospitality was amazing and the entire team was efficient. Not to forget the amazing welcome platter awaiting us in the room. Our heartfelt thanks to Mr.Shadab Khan for his warm hospitality. Our special thanks to the entire team, with special mention of Mr.Debanjan Basu, restautant team headed by Chef Kirthi, Ms.Manjula of reception, Ayush at restaurant and Anthony at the Ayurvedic center. During evening of both the days, the live music organized was soothing and coupled with the picturesque scenery and setting of the "cute tiny property " imbibed a much needed relaxing vibe. The food served was absolutely tasty, especially Dosas during breakfast and had good options of starters as well in buffet. The entire team of staff was sufficient given the accommodation strength of the resort and were very attentive, efficient and always willing to help offering a personalised service. Even the checkout experience was very smooth and warm; looking Forward to visiting this beautiful property again!!

We had a wonderful stay at the resort — everything was perfect from start to finish. The ambiance, cleanliness, and amenities exceeded our expectations and made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. A special thank you to Darshan for taking such great care of us during our stay. His hospitality, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor made us feel genuinely welcome. My wife hurt her leg and the staff immediately arranged a wheelchair and medicines for her. The luggage handling, check-in experience and dining experience were enhanced by the staff members. They even thoroughly cleaned my car before departure. Overall, the staff members were very friendly and courteous. The rooms are spacious with good views. The beds were very comfortable. The TVs are smart TVs and WiFi speed is good. The common amenities like swimming pool are also good. The best part was live music and karaoke every evening. My daughter loved the place because it had rabbits and allowed pets (she could play with two very friendly and playful dogs brought by other guests). Highly recommended resort for a short get-away from Bangalore.

The welcome went very well with Manjula and team showing warmth. They property is a gem with greenery. There is a beautiful swimming pool. We were celebrating our 10 wedding anniversary. Initially we were not upgraded but later Manjula informed us that they have upgraded us to a cottage - that was a kind gesture. The housekeeping was excellent. The decor of the property was classy and well-kempt. Food quality and variety could have been better esp Dinner as it needed reminders to fill the empty containers. Breakfast was good. The lighting in the Restaurant during dinner time could be better- it seemed very dull and dingy. The property round conducted by the staff (forget the name - he is from Darjeeling) was amazing, he was very knowledgeable and showed a lot of plants and explained their properties. High tea was good but not the best - the snacks were oily and limited in variety. The children loved the pool and cycling but they complained that the cycles were broken and there could have been one matching their age. They also missed a kids activity room which is usually a feature in such resorts. The checkout was smooth.Overall an excellent stay at a great property under the leadership of Mr Khan

The resort is very boring. No views at all. Nothing much to do here. Don't believe the photos. Restaurant food in good but not worth the price. A normal starter is about 700₹ expensive than a 5 star hotel. A roti is 275₹/piece. Two course meal will cost you about 3500₹ with one starter, one main and breads. And yes not to forget Extra activities they charge you like so much. Coffee plantations tour is like 2800 per person. Massage centre is so old, the steam bath is given in a box. And beware there were lizards in the massage room. This is 2.5 star hotel charging for 5 star hotel pricing. Not worth spending 15000₹/ night. With food extra.

Few issues because expectations on perfection to detail is very high from Taj chain of Hotels-Given the very high expectations for attention to detail from the Taj chain of hotels, we observed a few issues during our stay: Cleanliness: In our cottage, lizard droppings were frequently falling from the ceiling onto the bed. It appears a disinfestation treatment may be needed. Newspaper Availability: Morning newspapers were not delivered automatically and had to be requested via a reminder. Bicycle Maintenance: The cycles provided were not in optimal condition; they appeared to lack proper oiling and maintenance. Restaurant Hygiene: A cockroach was found in the Vanilla Fruit Juice, which was shown to the restaurant staff immediately. Fitness Center: The gym was under maintenance and was unavailable for use during our stay. Children’s Activities: The play area was designed for very young children (around 5 years old), and there were no swings or engaging activities available for older children (around 10 years old). Summary: While we appreciate the overall hospitality, addressing these concerns would help uphold the premium experience and reputation associated with the Taj brand.

From the warm welcome at check-in to the engaging activities for young children and the delicious dining experience, everything exceeded my expectations. While I've stayed at numerous Taj properties, this one stands out for its exceptional cuisine. The buffet selection, though limited, featured fresh, flavorful dishes prepared with the utmost care. I particularly appreciated the personalized service from Darshan at check-in, who ensured my request for an extended stay was met. The restaurant staff, Mr. Karthik and Mr. Deekshant, provided outstanding service and created a memorable dining experience. Their thoughtful gesture of packing snacks for my daughter on our departure day was a delightful touch. Finally, I commend Mr. Shadab, the General Manager, for his personal commitment to guest satisfaction. The entire team deserves recognition for their dedication to creating a truly memorable stay.
