I had a wonderful stay at The Woolpack. The Taittinger Suite was beautiful, with a stand alone bath that made the whole experience feel extra special. The room had a great mix of character and comfort, and the village setting was peaceful and charming. A perfect little countryside getaway.

We stayed overnight and from the moment we arrived and ordered our cream tea till when we checked out after breakfast, everything was excellent and I don’t use that word lightly. 1. The decoration and design of the interior of both the pub and the accommodation is luxurious and quality. Such a lovely atmosphere in the evening. 2. We had a cream tea in the afternoon, dinner in the evening and breakfast in the morning and all three were excellent quality food, cooked to perfection. 3. Charlotte served us and I have to say, she was outstanding! Friendly and efficient

What a lovely stay here. We stayed in a room in the stable block. Bed comfy, shower good and plenty of toiletries. Good selection of tea and coffee in the room. Both breakfast and dinner excellent with a good choice of local wines from nearby vineyards. (we bought a bottle to take home from the local wine shop) Staff friendly, professional and a credit to the place. Charlotte at breakfast today. Afraid I didn't catch other names, but all equally fab! Chilham is a beautiful village. We will be back!

We stayed here for a walking night away and so glad we did. The room was spotless and well catered for all amenities. The food stimulated all senses and was a party on the tongue... Beautifully presented, smelt amazing and tasted freshly cooked. Was worth every penny. Great cocktails as well. The atmosphere of this place was wonderful. The staff appear to really like their jobs, always polite, smiling and nothing was too much trouble. The outside seating was glorious in the sunshine. Perfect location for walkers

One night stay as part of a cycle tour of the Cantii way. Very good. Comfy large bed with choices of pillow. Powerful shower. Good lights by each bed. High quality bathroom products. High quality tea and coffee in the room. Very good breakfast at a time of our choosing. We have eaten there in the past before its new owners have refurbished it and they have done a very good job. Very god helpful (family ) staff. We stayed in one of the extension rooms on the ground floor so we could keep an eye on our bikes though they offered to stored them in the bin store area if we wanted. The Village itself well worth a walk around including the small post office/shop

We stayed the night at The Woolpack Inn, we had a beautiful room - Domaine Evremond Superior King. Everything was clean and tidy, very spacious. Lots of small touches, robes, fresh milk, toiletries. The dinner, food and service was incredible! We had dinner in the bar, breakfast in the restaurant and there was so much too chose from but all was incredibly fresh. The location is very pretty with lots of lovely walks. Would absolutely recommend and visit again!

Had a beautiful Friday evening here, just food only and so we never had the chance to sample the hotel rooms. The food was amazing and the whole evening was a great experience, with Molly getting well into the mood with the Elvis tribute act, who was just superb and had us singing Elvis throughout the whole weekend. Suffice to say was had a delightful evening, made possible by the excellent service and food and the atmosphere.

Amazing 15th century pub/hotel in a very charming village-appaears to be recently modernised. Big room with high ceilings and generous amenities, lots of space and storage, all the mod coms, very clean, even fresh milk in the room for your tea (a big plus!). Ate in the pub and food was deliscious with extremely generous portions. Overall great experience-would def come back!

Lovely food although the lamb dish I had differed from the description on the menu. We were told after ordering there would be a bit of a delay about 40 minutes later it arrived. After that we were completely forgotten although there were only a couple of other people drinking at the bar. Had to go to ask for the dessert menu at the bar then waited eventually someone came and took our order & then another wait.
