Sky Park Hotel

I stayed here for several nights in early September. Tokyo was experiencing scorching hot days, but this hotel, located at an altitude of nearly 1,500m, had a refreshing plateau feel and was comfortable. The room I stayed in was on the Kurumayama side (parking side) of the prominent Kurumayama Plateau, to the right of the front desk, but there were only a few cars belonging to hotel staff parked in the parking lot, and in the mornings, I would occasionally see guests walking their dogs. On a clear day, the radar dome and Kurumayama Terrace at the top of Kurumayama Plateau were clearly visible. In the lobby, Mt. Tateshina could be viewed from the sofa along with Lake Shirakaba. There were many Nepalese staff members among the hotel staff, and they were happy to greet me with "Namaste" when I entered the restaurant.

Arrived early and check-in is not yet possible, but most hotels allow you to do the formalities first, so I went to the front desk. The male staff member replied that the formalities start at 3pm. I killed time elsewhere and returned 20 minutes before, and they were already doing the formalities. His words and actions don't match, so I got a bad impression. I was with my dog ​​and our room was room 1124. We were on the left side of the hotel, on a muddy road under construction. The entrance was a dirty rusty door, and there was a partition 1 meter away from the outermost room. "No dogs allowed beyond this point." What a cold hotel for dogs. If they treat us like this, they should just stop allowing dogs to stay there. Don't do things half-heartedly. After a while, I tried to turn the lights on... but there was no electricity. Neither the phone charging nor the heating worked. I contacted the front desk, and the maintenance staff came but it wasn't fixed, so we moved to room 1125 across the street. The lights worked in the room so I was relieved. After taking a bath, it got cold in the evening so I turned the heating on but it didn't work at all. What on earth is going on with this hotel??? It didn't get better so we moved to room 1117 again. We had to repack our luggage for the third time and move. The hotel looks nice from the outside but it has no soul at all. If it were me I wouldn't switch the maintenance staff and the manager. My fun-filled trip has turned into anger. It was a sad trip. I wonder if this hotel will go out of business sooner or later? The president's footing is terrible. I will never stay here again. Everyone please be careful.
