My wife and I, together with another couple of good old friends, made a week-long tour of Southern England in September and stayed two nights at Badgers' Hall. We had surely high expectations based on the overwhelmingly enthusiastic reviews we had seen. Were they fulfilled? More than amply! It did not take many minutes until we felt like old friends of Karen and Paul and homely settled in our venerable yet comfortable and spacious room. Later we enjoyed two delicious breakfast, promptly cooked to order from a range of choices, as well as a truly extraordinary afternoon tea "with all the trimmings". In the late evening we were able to hang around with our own drinks in front of the cosy log fire. Add to this a superb location in the very heart of picture-perfect Chipping Campden, with e g a small supermarket next door, as well as several excellent pubs and restaurants within very short walking distance. So our stay could hardy have been even a wee bit better - we left with joy in our hearts and tears in our eyes!
