St George Beach Hotel & Spa Resort

Fantastic weeks stay at St George’s Beach hotel, we have stayed in some fabulous hotels but this takes some beating! Service, cleanliness and choice of food and drink on offer unbeatable! We ate at all 4 al a carte restaurants and we were blown away and left feeling very full, The allocated sunbeds brilliant, we are indecisive and moved beds 4 times in our weeks stay which wasn’t an issue so tried all areas but preferred the beach area as sea breeze lovely and it’s peaceful, We will definately return to this hotel and reccomend to family and friends

My friend and I have just returned from a beautiful week at the St George. We stayed in room 1506 and it was obvious that this had recently had a makeover. The room was very modern and comfortable. We chose our sun-beds to be on the beach and personally I think we had the best spot available. It was much quieter down there and right next to the sunset bar if we needed anything. The main pool looked far too busy for us with lots of people choosing to stay in it all day for the swim up bar. The sea was beautiful however it was quite rough on a few days, be careful with the current between the breaker wall. Access in and out is difficult and water shoes are a must. If the hotel would consider putting in a little access jetty over the rocks in, it would make a huge improvement, we saw so many people fall over and hurt themselves on the rocks trying to get in. The safest way is if you follow the line of life buoys in on the left-hand side, but you are still navigating lots of rocks and holes. We ate in all four of the à la carte restaurants, our favourites being the Italian and Asian. There was entertainment on every night, but I have to say some of the singers were pretty mediocre, it was disappointing to see that what looks like the best acts were on a Saturday evening which seemed like it was changeover day for a lot of people so we didn’t get to see any of the acrobat shows, etc. We found the staff to be pretty much great everywhere, our favourites being the lovely happy team working at the sunset bar and also the two guys that worked at the outside bar near the entertainment in the evening (apologies I don’t remember the names) The hotel literally has the best sunsets I’ve seen in a long time, there are so many viewing points and we love to stay and watch them in the evening from the beach. Well done St George, we really have had the perfect week with you.

We were back at the Saint George Hotel for our usual trip to Paphos, Cyprus earlier this month. The fact that we have stayed at this hotel so many times speaks volumes about the standard of service, accommodation and attention to detail experienced at the hotel and we know that we will always have a lovely stay. This year we booked one of the rooms in the new block and had an amazing pool and sea view. The rooms are well appointed with plenty of storage space, and nice touches such as the coffee machine and a large dressing table area so the room did not feel cluttered. I must give a special mention to our room housekeeper, Sophia who refreshed our room daily. She was a friendly, delightful and nothing was too much trouble for her. There are three pools to choose from so it never feels crowded and the sunbed allocation is also a great initiative and eliminates the 8am dash that you can get in some hotels! If you do not like your initial allocation (we favour the gardens rather than the pool) this can be changed for you. All the staff are professional and friendly and cannot do enough for you. We had great service from the ladies in the Semeli Wine bar who remember your preferences and make suggestions for wines to try. Overall, another great stay and we are already looking forward to returning next year

Another lovely stay at St. Georges Hotel. Food is outstanding, visited all the a la cartes, some twice. All offering tasty high end dishes. Lots of different drinking areas on a night to satisfy everyone. All the staff work hard to make the holiday enjoyable. Again sunbed allocation is the way forward. Had to wait one day for our preferred beds, so no grumbles there. Just the one issue, access in and out of the sea is dodgy to say the least. The hotel will tell you, the beach and sea area doesn't belong to them, yet calls itself a beach hotel. Overall a great stay and will book again for next year.

Fabulous hotel in every way. All staff very friendly and obliging. Lovely room overlooking pool and sea. Food- excellent choice and variety, and all piping hot! A rarity these days in all- inclusive! We loved the Asian speciality restaurant- thank you Andreas! Had a laugh in the Tiki bar almost every evening- very entertaining- and that was just the guests! Plenty of different bars to choose from, spoilt for choice. Loved the Sunset bar, situated very near to our allocated sunbeds( this was also great, not having to worry about the early morning rush for beds!) Couple of minor issues- Hubby not keen on the beer( Keo)and he missed his melon! Also, not much variety of fresh grilled fish. None of these issues were a real problem, just an observation. We had a wonderful time, and will be back!

Our first visit to this hotel,we wasn't disappointed. A warm welcome on arrival. A sea view room, plenty of space for hanging clothes and sockets for hairdryers etc,had big mirror over dressing table. The bed was a king size and very comfortable with pillows of your choice. We found the air con to noisy for us for sleeping,so being high up left the patio door a jar at night for some air. Plenty of places for eating and drinking.Food we found to be good plenty of choice. Serve yourself to drinks in restaurants for meals the wine not to our taste in restaurant, but there is a lovely wine bar with plenty on offer for all tastes. A cocktail bar with lots to try, and a bar serving coffee and cakes . Found everywhere very clean,plenty of seating area's. The good bit they have a sun lounger system in place so no getting up early to get one. Why haven't more hotels got this!!! Brilliant idea. The Al carte restaurants need to be booked,the only downside 2 are outside and the seating could be better for those. All staff very friendly and helpful. We have booked again for April 26 before we had even been for our first vist, so it's worked out great. .
