Good value for money apartment,well equipped, plenty of towels, toiletries etc.enough kitchen gear and cooker oven. Cleaned regularly. Receptionist RULA very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my stay and will stay again,no problems. Is situated on steep slope so not suitable for everyone.

I found the apartment (211) to be clean and welcoming. Although basic I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. We relaxing time and the staff were very friendly and helpful. One area that may be beneficial in improving would be the provision of more cutlery in the kitchen. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for reasonably priced accommodation close to the main attractions.

Ok, lets start with the hill - which many seem to have an issue with. I'm 61 years old and it took me abou three minutes to walk up it most days, from the main road below. Assuming you are not disabled, elderly, or seriously unfit, it shouldn't be a drama for anyone. Yes, it gets a bit steep, but it is fine. Obviously if you are going to have a car, this isn't an issue, anyway. Other reviews dwell on the complex being a bit run down. There's no denying that it could do with a bit of a facelift, but in fairness, the pool was clean and well looked after and the pool area itself was pleasant and quiet for a bit of relaxing, when we were there. Our apartment was spacious and perfectly good for our needs. Everything worked and the shower was hot and powerful, whatever time of day we used it. The kitchen area had a good fridge and a small oven/grill/hotplate combo that all worked well. The kitchen was however very poorly stocked with the most basic of kitchen items - no bowls, one fork between us, a broken corkscrew, for example and a random selection of other bits and pieces. The reception staff were able to provide us with some of the items we needed to be able to use the kitchen for basic food preparation, but other things we had to do without. We had a small south-facing terrace outside our apartment, with a sideways sea view, which gave us views of the fabulous sunsets out to sea, each evening. To summarise, don't be put off by some of the bad reviews, especially if they relate to things like the hill or ants (we didn't see any in our apartment, or any other unwanted wildlife). We had a very nice time there and it gave us pretty much all we wanted, in terms of facilities. It is not 5 star, by any means, but if you don't want to pay 5 star prices, and you're prepared to compromise here or there, then I'd say this is a good value option. Lastly, for those not intending to have a car, there are quite a number of bars and restaurants close by, including a couple of more traditional establishements, one specialising in fresh fish, and the other offering local dishes. They're worth checking out. The 615 bus stops on the main road, at the bottom of the hill and goes backwards and forwards all day, between Coral Bay to the north (which is good if you prefer beaches) and Paphos town to the South. Both journeys only take a few minutes and the fare is a flat 1.50 euros. They also run quite late, if you wanted to head into Paphos for an evening. Intercity buses also run from Pahos, if you wanted to visit other places on the Island. We did a day trip to Limassol, which was pretty easy and inexpensive to do.

Yes the place is tired but it was clean. Just needs a few euros spent to refresh it. The Scottish receptionist was excellent and showed us to our room when she could easily have just directed us. We booked 2 nights as we were staying on the very east of Cyprus and wanted to visit the Paphos area. The cost of the room was fair for what it was (separate bedroom etc) air con included in the cost. There were sufficient plates and cutlery etc plus a kettle and toaster 2 fridges and a little cooker. As I wasn't intending cooking a 3 course meal this was just what we needed. The buffet breakfast was more than adequate - full cooked, cereal, toast , cheese, meats yogurts though the coffee was awful!. It doesn't sound like the same place that other reviewers stayed. The pool was smallish but it is a small complex so you could hardly expect an olympic size pool. As for the hill only the totally unfit or fat would find it an issue. The view was also good. If you want more the pay more.

Mildew around bath, cooker rusty and dirty, lacked towels , the whole apartment was tired and staff extremely lazy, front of drawer on opening fell apart and so did the knob from the kitchen drawer. All booked through ***********.

Not as clean as the photos appear. Photos are Misleading. This hotel has basic facilities. No hair dryers. Be prepared to share basic amenities such as iron but with no ironing board. Towels are given every 3 days. Hotel is on the hill. The cleaners do not clean the sinks and bath tubs. Our room had ants. Our shower was broken, and the self catering amenities is not clean or usable. Location wise is great as you are in the middle of papos 10min bus ride from coral bay. The reception staff is not great either. We found our own way around. The local people were more helpful, area is safe and buses are the best way to travel to and fro.
