Mercure Hotel Chongqing Jiefangbei

The room was clean, but the bed didn't feel like a 1.5-meter (queen-size) bed; it felt more like 1.45 meters. For two adults and two children, overall, it was alright.

Our room was on a high floor, offering a partial river view. The sanitation was good, and the room was clean with all the necessary amenities. The hotel is located near Jiefangbei, making it very convenient to walk to Hongyadong and other attractions.

The hotel boasts an excellent location right in the heart of Jiefangbei's central business district, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. All the popular tourist spots are close by, and even though we took taxis everywhere, it still saved us a lot of time and hassle. The entire staff was very accommodating. The laundry room offers washing and drying services, and you can even ask staff to handle it and return your clothes to your room, which is a huge plus for travelers as you don't have to accumulate dirty laundry. The housekeeping staff were also very polite. There was also a small, thoughtful gesture: on our departure day, we left our glasses in the breakfast restaurant, and they were successfully returned to us. The hotel's lost and found service definitely deserves praise!

The room was very comfortable with a great view. My stay was quite pleasant. As a brand hotel under HUAZHU Group, the breakfast was exceptionally rich and varied. I would definitely consider staying here again next time!
