When the Koreans opened, they said that they gave me a motel that was 300 meters away. I also sent an email to me, and some people replied.

Our unit was under maintenance so we were upgraded to a lovely 3 bed house close by. The house was huge, flashy and well appointed for a family of 4. Fantasically clean, lovely staff. Would stay again! Could do with more coffee, sugar and milk as there wasnt enough.

Hello Ibis Christchurch Manager, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my appreciation for the wonderful setting and location of your hotel during my stay on Jul 23rd. The Central Business district location, coupled with the fantastic array of shopping and dining options mere meters away, truly made my experience enjoyable. I must commend your front desk team for their warm and friendly service throughout my stay. They were attentive and accommodating, making me feel welcome and valued as a guest. However, I regret to share that my experience with the housekeeping teams left me feeling disappointed. My Friend and I had made a specific and personal request, both directly with the housekeeping staff and through the front desk, to have our room cleaned during our stay. Unfortunately, upon returning to our room, we were shocked to find a ”do not disturb” tag hanging on the door, indicating that the room had not been attended to. I understand that errors can occur in any establishment, and I believe this was a process oversight rather than a deliberate neglect. Nevertheless, I felt the need to bring this matter to your attention. These small irritants can have a lasting impact on a guest's experience, and I sincerely hope that your management will take this feedback constructively to prevent such incidents in the future. I truly enjoyed my overall stay at your hotel, but I believe that addressing such issues will elevate your services to an even higher level of excellence. The location is a bit off, but it doesn't matter if you drive. The room was temporarily booked on Christmas afternoon. There was no one at the front desk. I made a phone call and arrived quickly. Check-in and check-out were quick. There is no stove but only a microwave, so if you want to cook by yourself, it's fine. Everything else is fine

Very friendly reception staff - I was leaving very early the next morning and that was no bother. Close to and easy access to Christchurch airport. Supermarket and restaurants just down the road made for a nice walk after a day's driving. Room was very comfortable - good sound proofing, did not hear the main road at all. Nice modern bathroom. I didn't use the kitchenette, or the heat pump (but appreciated that there was a heat pump if needed). Great value for money.

This motel was much nicer than many higher end hotels. Very clean, nicely furnished, good kitchenette equipment. Very clean. Great customer service. It was very easy and safe to walk from the motel to the train station at 6 am, it is about a 15 minute walk all on sidewalks.
