I loved the lake view from my room, and highly recommend higher floors. The bathtub with the open view was also amazing,the beds were soft and sleek. However,I would not rate this hotel as 5 stars; the decor is quite old with its dark colours, a bit worn out wallpapers and quite old carpets in the corridor. It was very noisy with lots of families and their kids. Buliding 1 has two lifts only and you end up waiting and being squashed in a lift all the time. Coming down to breakfast restaurant was about strange as the lift takes you to the basement parking so one needs to go past the cars unless you want to walk outside the building.The breakfast was buzzing with too many people impatient to que politely. Most importantly, I really feel the front desk service needs a lot of improvement; I understand that nobody speaks English, we can use translators,but noone welcomed me properly and wished me a nice stay: my Alipay and passport only mattered. I was lucky with Xio Qian ( front desk boy) who offered to help and share the information about amenities and trips around the lake. I am very grateful to him. The gym in building 5 was a disappointment; One swimming pool is to be shared between 4 other buildings. Because it rained, the water was quite cold in the pool. Overall,this hotel would suit families and kids mainly,but i would not recommend it to single expats and certainly would not rate it as a 5 star hotel.

I strongly recommend you experience a stay at Hilton Hangzhou Qiandaohu. It was one of the most comfortable stays ever. Maksim, one of the hotel employees, helped us from the start to the end. As a Korean, traveling in China is extremely difficult because of the language barrier. Although, I speak English, most of the Chinese do not. But, Maksim was able to speak 4 languages fluently; Korean, English, Russian and Chinese. He was happy to answer any questions regardless of time. So, if you are a foreigner considering a visit to Qiandaohu, Hilton is the place, and find Maksim when you do so. The hotel upgraded my room when I got there and prepared a nice welcoming fruit in the room. The hotel has a lot of fun activities, and nice restaurants. My girlfriend and I had an unforgettable memories here.

We had an unforgettable experience at Bright Resort in Qindaohu. Everything was absolutely perfect. Spectacular views, amazing villa, delicious food and very kind staff. We enjoyed walking in the nature, the fresh air and the amazing views. We spotted big fish, eagles and aquatic birds. The breakfast and the food at the Chinese restaurant were delicious. Totally recommended for families, couples and singles.

Our time at the Sheraton Qiandao Lake was excellent. The staff went out of their way to help us and make our trip and stay smooth. Sauron was especially helpful and was only a text message away. We would really recommend the hotel. The hot springs were lovely and warm! The only slight inconvenience is its slightly further away from everything and you need to Didi for everything as non Chinese citizens can't use the ebikes or bikes as a foreigner.

Super big room with nice view! Super awesome coming at low peak season. Only item is probably the lights are turn on slightly late. We saw a few ppl riding in the dark. Quite dangerous since cars are travelling in low lights. Feedback to staff and they mention they will bring this to the in charge to adjust the light timing

Frankly speaking, I am very satisfied with the experience of staying at the Sheraton Hotel this time, which is great value. When we checked into the hotel on the 13th, the housekeeper Ms. Cora Pan was very considerate and helped us upgrade the room. The view was great! grateful. On the 14th, my family and I ordered a buffet at the hotel. The food was quite good, thumbs up!

We were really impressed with this hotel. It is in a fantastic location- lovely lake views and right next to the main wharf. The facilities are excellent and there is a good range of food at breakfast, including cereals and pastries. Staff do not speak English but will do their best to help. We would stay again.

A great choice for parent-child travel, the children had a great time! This time I took my 3-year-old daughter to stay at Qiandao Lake Kaiyuan Resort, and the overall experience was very satisfactory! I came in the off-season and upgraded the room on the 4th floor. The resort has a beautiful environment and fresh air, which is very suitable for family travel. The room is spacious and clean, with complete facilities, especially children's products are fully prepared. The washing and care of Dai Kesi is also reassuring, and the children live very comfortably. There are many parent-child activities in the resort. The baby especially likes the cute pet park and the car town, and has a lot of fun. Because it rained in the outdoor amusement park, we played for a while on the last day of leaving the hotel, and the baby was reluctant to leave. Because it rained on the second day of check-in, I bought a ticket to the car town and took the child to play. I was not afraid of being bored on rainy days. Another thing worth mentioning is the children's heated swimming pool. The temperature is quite high, more than 30 degrees. It is not cold at all in this weather. There is no need to worry about catching a cold. The baby goes swimming every night and has a lot of fun playing in the water. The staff are super enthusiastic. They will greet us with a smile when they pass by. They are very patient with children, which makes us feel very considerate. The restaurant also has a special children's area for breakfast, which is also very attentive. The children are happy to eat and we are relieved. Special thanks to the housekeeper Yaya and Aunt Liang in the guest room. The housekeeper Yaya helped to pull the luggage from the beginning of check-in, and all the questions were answered, which made our experience very good and always cared about our check-in experience. Aunt Liang was also very meticulous and patient. She also gave roses and chocolates on Valentine's Day, and a small gift for the baby before leaving. The children were very happy. In short, this was a very pleasant parent-child trip. The children were very excited throughout the trip. I strongly recommend families with children to choose this place! It would be nice to bring the baby to play in the water next time when the weather gets hot.

It takes more than 40 minutes to get there by hotel shuttle bus from the high-speed rail station. The hotel is on Yu Street, which is very convenient for eating. Fruits are given upon check-in. It is about a 15-minute walk to the central lake area pier. There are Chinese and Western breakfasts. Great!
