WRONG ROOM BOOKING FROM TRIP.COM - there is ibis budget (2*) right next door and trip.com wrongly booked me to the budget hotel, although I paid for the full ibis!! Please confirm your booking with the hotel prior to arrival to avoid nasty surprises. That said, ibis *budget* was clean, looked decently newly renovated, and was very comfortable.

Sehr freundliches Personal,sehr gute zentrale Lage,alles wirklich fußläufig erreichbar (Stadt,Strand etc)
Frühstück war sehr gut und vor allem reichhaltig.
Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Only stayed 2 nights as part of a coach trip. As a solo within that group I was given a lovely double room, though fairly small if there were 2 in it. Very clean, liked the pod bathroom, though quite a high step into it which could cause a problem for some. No evening meals available apart from frozen pizza, but an easy walk into the town where there are lots of restaurants. Good buffet style breakfast with hot food available, even at 6am! Staff were friendly and helpful.

Perfect for what we needed.
St Jean du Luz was surprisingly more than we expected it to be & a pleasant one night stop before short drive to the ferry in Bilbao.
