21C Museum Hotel Cincinnati

Love love love the hotel. Very aesthetic! Love their arts  too!

My stay at the 21C Museum Hotel in downtown Cincinnati was overall satisfactory in terms of cleanliness and room quality. However, I had an extremely disappointing experience that significantly impacted my trip. As someone traveling from China to Cincinnati, I relied heavily on my iPhone for essential tasks such as managing my funds and arranging transportation. Unfortunately, the charging port for iPhones in my room was broken, which I only discovered the morning after my arrival. This left me stranded without a functioning phone or any means to access my electronic funds. Considering the premium price of the hotel and its positive reviews, I was shocked to find myself in this situation. When I approached the hotel lobby for assistance and asked if I could borrow a charger, I was informed that I would need to purchase one for $20 USD. This was deeply frustrating, as my dead phone meant I couldn't access any funds, including the money required to buy a charger. I felt incredibly uncomfortable and isolated in an unfamiliar city. Fortunately, I found help at a nearby establishment, Nada, where they allowed me to charge my phone. While I am grateful for their assistance, I can't help but feel disappointed in the lack of empathy and understanding from the 21C Museum Hotel. Given the circumstances of their broken docking port, I expected more consideration and assistance. This experience has left me with a negative impression, and I would caution anyone considering this hotel to be aware of potential issues and the hotel's response to them. The situation I faced was not only inconvenient but also unnecessary, and it has unfortunately overshadowed the positive aspects of my stay.

GREAT Unique Downtown Option! We were looking for a place to stay within walking distance of Great American Ballpark and this hotel came up. It was an easy few block walk to the ballpark. While there are a couple of interesting food/drink options right by the hotel we passed on those to explore our hotel. A good nightcap from the bar that we could take with us as we explored. The first two floors are an art gallery that was small (it was undergoing some display changes) but interesting. We took our time leisurely strolling in a completely relaxed atmosphere. The hotel itself started with a very friendly and courteous check-in (all of the staff was so pleasant throughout our stay). The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The shower was extremely powerful (seriously it might ***** paint) but I'd rather have that than the weak streams we've encountered before. Checkout was simple. Note that parking is either on your own (we parked in an underground lot behind the hotel for about 2/3 of valet) or valet. Also I will say that this feels like a very upscale place (fancy food, chocolate on the pillow, bourbon tasting, etc) but it was also down-to-earth in that there were several others staying there for the baseball game and everyone was pleasant. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here!! We definitely will again

This hotel used to be so nice and now it's becoming a dressed up motel 6 that happens to have an amazing gallery and restaurant. Why!? This was my favorite place to stay and send my friends.. Now the beds are hard, carpet dingy, room amenities are scant, light switches are filthy.. It's like they're giving up!

Was pretty disappointed in the lack of bathroom amenities. The bottle of hand soap was completely gone & so was the body wash. We checked in later after a Reds game, so it wasn’t convenient to call housekeeping to restock at 10 at night.

Quiet location for the center of Cincinnati. Valet parking made it easier to drop/pick up car. Everything was walkable and the area was beautiful. Staff warm, welcoming and helpful.
