good hotel with friendly staff break fast was ok, location was 3 min walk to one of the good outdoor market called vernissage, near republic square and you can access easily, you should aware there is no staff to take care of your bags, hotel had no ramp, room was clean and there was construction’s behind hotel which if you want to stayed at your rooms in daylight i think it will disturb you, read the policy of hotel about toothbrush and water. but I enjoyed stay there because staff was kind and location was very good, rooms was clean.

Thank you Cascade for everything I stayed 5 night in Cascade Hotel and every thing was so good that I decided extend my check out for 3 nights more… Despite the hotel is located in the one of the best location of city but the location is very serene and full of peace… My room window open onto the Cascade (one of the attentions on the Yervan)… I was one person (one girl) but the hotel feels like my home… You can approach to the best place of the city just by foot.. The staff are very friendly and helpful.. Air conditioning was very good… Their is no electric hot water but you can call with the room service and they provide it for you in the seconds… Hair dryer was strong… I must check out tomorrow and i will miss my room in Cascade Hotel... Thank you so much Cascade⭐️

We had our own criteria for choosing a hotel. Convenient location for us, something within walking distance, near bus stop, metro, shops, restaurants. The photos of the hotel in the advertisement correspond to the declared ones, the room is clean, in order to be cleaned you need to hang a tag or speak to the reception. A budget hotel in the city center, saved the evening by the pool and courtyard, where you can sit with local drinks and discuss new impressions of Yerevan. Breakfast from 9.00 am, modest, but we had enough, instant coffee. We asked for a kettle and I made myself coffee (I bought it for myself) as I like it. Breakfasts are held in another room without windows, which upset me, I wanted windows with views of Ararat. The hotel is located on a slope, below the river and there are restaurants, in the evening loud music plays and songs are sung, but the noise is until 23.00. Such rules in Armenia. The staff is friendly, responsive. The hotel left a good impression. Recommend for a city break in hot weather.

Единственный плюс этого отеля - это расположение. Заходишь по мраморной лестнице, рисуешь картинки с фото букинга, ведь у отеля 4 звёзды, и ты ожидаешь от него определённого уровня. И все хорошо, до момента пока ты не зашёл в номер. В номере уставшее абсолютно все: от стен и мебели до кранов и сантехники. Про потолок и «вентиляцию» в туалете я молчу. Там просто при открывании двери постоянно открывается люк в пространство стены с видом на трубы. И вся конструкция закреплена на грязном скотче. Завтрак включён, но будьте готовы к тому что это яйца (омлет, глазунья), сосиска 1 шт или жареный бекон 2 кусочка, зато 4 куска хлеба; салат из овощей, десерт и пару кусочков фруктов. Мой муж не ест яйца, но других вариантов никто Вам не предложит. Из напитков 1 холодный, 1 горячий. Холодные - это вода без газа или сок (мультифрукт «Добрый», в последний день появился яблочный), чай: чёрный, зеленый был не всегда. Кофе только вареный маленькая чашка, молоко добавить нельзя. Я не пью чёрный чай, чёрный кофе и химозный мультифрукт, лимон к чаю взять нельзя, поэтому из вариантов вода 😅 Еда съедобная, но однообразная. По номеру фото добавлю. Желание вернуться отсутствует.

I don`t know) 3- If you wanna see city and go to central city you most take Taxi (Minimum 1500 Dram for GO and minimum 3000 for back) I recommended this hotel for cheap travel Please attention most hotel in Yerevan is very poor in service but this hotel is top for service

This is a small hotel, just seven floors and four rooms on each hotel, but it has a huge amount going for it and is strongly recommended. The best rooms are at the back (rooms 74, 64, 54, etc), for two reasons: one is the imposing view of Mt Ararat way to the south over the Turkish border and the other is that they are the quietest. The rooms have fridge, microwave, sink, and plates and cutlery, so you can eat in if you want: we stayed for ten days and did so several times. Don't bother getting your own breakfast, though: the breakfasts here are superb, with an amazing range to satisfy even picky eaters! The hotel is on the junction of Bagramian Avenue, which is one of the main artery roads, and Orbeli Street, so taxis can find it easily. We enjoyed being out of the hustle and bustle of the downtown area, where many hotels are: a short walk down Bagramian will get you to the Bagramian stop on the Metro and from there it is two stops to Republic Square; or, as we often did, you can walk down Bagramian, which is tree-lined, and get the Metro back. There are several handy supermarkets near the hotel in the direction of the Metro and a large, fancier one down Orbeli; also, if you go up Bagramian beyond the Orbeli junction there are several great food shops on the same side of Bagramian as the hotel. The staff are wonderful and unfailingly kind, friendly and completely trustworthy. The lady who cleaned our room was Iranian with a good command of English and a fascinating person to talk to. Down in the breakfast room, at the front desk and throughout the hotel the staff are exceptional. They arranged a car with driver for us at a very reasonable rate and we took advantage of that to go to Lake Sevan; we made several other trips with the same driver and he eventually drove us up to Dilijian as well. Lastly, let's face it, you're not going to learn the Armenian script for a short stay. But you might learn the Russian script and/or bring a Russian phrase book, as a lot of signage is in Russian as well as Armenian but not Roman (eg the Metro). 'Good morning' in Armenian is easy - 'Barry Lewis' - and the staff really appreciated us saying that. 'Thank you' is more of a challenge - 'shnor-haka-loo-tyoon' - but it is worth make the effort to learn because of the smiles it brings out!

Going out for a walk in the morning, I was lucky to meet the Yerevan International Hot Air Balloon Festival, which was too shocking. Back to the hotel, you can see the hot air balloon in the sky on the balcony of the room, which is so beautiful.

I have visited DowntownSuites in December 2021. Excellent place to visit with family. Very pleasant staff, outstanding service! The hotel is in the centre of Yerevan. There are a lot of shops, supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The entrance to hotel by other people is forbidden, Only guests and staff have access to this floor. Smoking is strictly forbidden in the hotel, a special place is allocated for smokers. I highly recommend this place.

Lovely perfect hotel in really great location in the center of Yerevan that made it easy to walk to the top city attractions, shops and restaurants,.. .the room was very spacious, the service and cleanliness of the room were excellent and cleaning was done daily. the breakfast was almost like a brunch, had an amazing variety of foods and fruits as well. last but not least is the lovely staff at the hotel who were really welcoming and helpful and incredibly friendly specially Ms. Ella who goes far above to help🙏. she is so nice, not Iranian but speaks Persian very good and it makes it easier for Iranian people to stay in this hotel. finally I have to say It is an excellent, high quality hotel and we would definitely stay there again! and highly recommend it to others.

GGuest UserNova hotel is in a good location close to many restaurants and shopping areas. What is even more excellent is the hotel staff are extremely courteous, attentive and warm. It was my husband's birthday a day after we checked in but we did not mention it at the revolution. The hotel has a lovely breakfast buffet and we were enjoying it the next morning. Suddenly we heard 3 young girls from the breakfast area singing happy birthday and bringing a huge red velvet and chocolate cake to surprise my husband. The girl from the reception who checked us in joined as well. We were overwhelmed by the gesture when we came to know that she had noticed while checking and had arranged the whole surprise. It goes to show how much attention to detail the staff are trained to. We noticed the cheerfulness and hospitality from all the girls at the reception who would run in to get coffee or juice if a guest was waiting at the reception. Kudos to the management for engaging and training wonderful staff. Thank you girls for making our stay memorable. The studio apartment we stayed in was spacious and perfect to come back for a sound sleep.

Мы не брали завтрак, но зашли посмотреть. Вроде и все есть, но выбор скромный. Завтракали рядом в заведениях. Если будет адекватная цена, еще вернемся из-за расположения

GGuest UserWe stayed 2 nights for a brief stop in Yerevan and we were far from disappointed! The hotel entrance is tucked away but well signposted. The reception staff were extremely welcoming each time we saw them, they spoke good english and were always happy to help. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the name, the hotel rooms are all on the 14th floor, with reception on floor 1, and the dining area on floor 15. Our room was excellent! A little dated in decor and some signs of wear, but it was a large room split into a living area on one side and the bedroom on the other. The room had good features including a mini-fridge, toiletries, good AC and a safe - although the safe was already locked when we arrived and inaccessible (we just went without it). The best feature was the terrace! Whilst the windows were made up of frosted glass, there was a door that led to an open terrace with stunning views over Yerevan and Mount Ararat. The terrace is shared between all guests, however we rarely saw anybody out there and there was very little noise. There was a good choice at breakfast made up of hot and cold food. The dining area was large with great views from most sides, although the terrace on this floor was unfortunately closed for renovation during our stay. However, with open access to the terrace on the 14th floor below this wasn't a problem. The location of the hotel probably couldn't be better. It's in the city centre, surrounded by restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, parks, and only a 5-10 minute walk to the metro. Overall, it's not the most luxurious hotel you'll find, but it's great for a short stay in Yerevan and excellent value for money.

GGuest UserSmooth hostel in the centre of Jerewan. Very quiet rooms, which are unfortunately without windows in the basement. Operators were super friendly and nice. Tea & coffee is available free. Also a microwave is available, but no kitchen. Duches & closet were clean and overall everything was very well maintained. In the rooms there were large locks and the wlaan was also good. Stable, cozy beds with a hang and sticks on each bed. Can the hostel really recommend.

Номер обставлен дешёвой мебелью которая уже шатается и трещит по швам 3. Очень грязно!!! Ковролин когда то был светло бежевый ( можно посмотреть на лестнице которой мало пользуются) стал темно серого цвета 4. Плитка в сан узле в нескольких местах расколота 5. Воды горячей нет, скорее тёплая 6. Всё стены обшарпаные 7. Самое важное! Ужасные матрасы, пружины впиваются в спину. Уж на этом то можно было бы не экономить! Ведь люди прежде всего в отель приезжают чтобы отдохнуть от дороги. 8. Розетки 2, одна в ванной, одна глубоко за мебелью. Как заряжать телефон не понятно. 9. Вид из окна на когда то хороший сквер, в котором сейчас валяются грязные тряпки мусор и автомобильные покрышки. 10. Лифт работает только один. В час пик когда всё идут на завтрак ждать его бесполезно. 11. Если вы как я не любитель рано вставать, то на завтрак рассчитывать не стоит. Во первых потому что вы просто не найдете чистый стол, убирать их не торопятся. Во вторых всё будет уже холодное. Еда выглядит не аппетитно, ассортимент очень скудный. Европейского завтрака вы тут не найдете. Непонятный салат и сосиска с вашей... Как то так. Чашки для чая размером с напёрсток. Когда я попросила чашку побольше, выяснилось что у них других нет. И всё бы ничего, если бы например было две звезды. Но на стене у лифтов мы видим гордые четыре. Господа, подтяните уровень отеля, уберите одну звезду и сделайте хотя бы честные три! А так это просто развод какой то! Лично я больше ни ногой!

GGuest UserWe chose this hotel based on price. The room had all the amenities except TV. But we got by without the wave. The only thing missing was boiling water. But we were embarrassed to mention it. At the same time, the hostess is very welcoming. She even offered us a higher class room, but we refused.
Very soft and comfortable beds. Full set of towels. It’s a pity that there aren’t enough shelves in the bathroom and room.
Before entering the hotel, the hostess helped save our things, as we were flying out and returning to them. It’s convenient that you can always order food and have lunch/dinner. The hostess cooks it herself. There is a small supermarket and bakery nearby.
In addition, the hosts can arrange a tour to different regions of Armenia.
The location of the hotel has both pros and cons. It is located quite close to the city center and there are many buses going there. Opposite is the intercity bus station. But from there you can only go to Russia and Georgia. Market.
On the other hand, it’s a bit far to get to the center without a bus. And it is not so easy to find this hotel if you are not friends with Google or Yandex. A road with broken pavement leads to it, because... Dump trucks pass through it from time to time. There are other hotels nearby.

It includes a concert hall and a ballet theater that was only completed in 1953, and the designer is Alexander Tammanian (Alexander Tamanian). The Liberty Square in front of the gate was formerly known as the Opera Square or the Theatre Square, which was flanked by bronze statues of Armenian composers and poet writers, and I don't even know the name. Liberty Square is still the main place for people to protest, but on weekdays, many teenagers playing wheels and skateboards practice here, every holiday will become a children's playground, surrounded by large inflatable amusement facilities and tents.
The Armenian Genocide Museum
长长脸张少侠[Armenian Genocide Museum] The Armenian Genocide Memorial Hall is located on the "Yanbao" hill in Tsitsernakaberd southwest of Yerevan City, built in 1965 after the outbreak of the 50th anniversary of the genocide in Yerevan. The memorial is small, and the exhibition covers a wide range of subjects, including the situation of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire before the genocide, the genocide itself, the reactions of the world at that time, and the impact of genocide on later history. There were three of the most brutal massacres of the twentieth century. The people are familiar with the Nazis’ massacre of Jews in Germany and the Rwandan genocide in the 1990s. But not much is known about the Armenian genocide. Under Ottoman Turks, Christian Armenians were not recognized by Muslims. Armenians, historically known as thorns, have been fighting tyranny. When the Ottoman Empire was dying, fearing that Armenians colluded with Russia against them, they kept looking for a massacre of Armenians until the height of World War I. Similar to the fate of the Jews, Armenians had been slaughtered many times in the late 19th century, but not on a large scale. It was not until World War I that Ottoman joined Germany’s side, and became a counter-measure with Britain, France and Russia. When the world war broke out in 1914, Ottoman and Russia faced each other and suffered a fiasco. His government was more concerned about the Armenians joining Tsarist forces to attack them. According to records, Armenians living in the Ottoman Empire before World War I had 2 million people, and after World War I had dropped to 500,000. Armenians had been fighting the tyranny of the Ottoman Empire, and their resistance group, the Fifth Column, had been fighting with the help of Russia. The Ottoman government used this as an excuse to expel the Armenians on the Anatolian Peninsula and drive them to the desolate outer Caucasus, the wasteland and deserts I kept seeing along the way from my car, barren land. Finally, this drive-through policy escalated into the Holocaust. Although the number of deaths is not accurate, scholars generally believe that 10,000 people died during World War I. In 1991, Armenia gained independence from the Soviet Union and established its territory, only 11% of the Armenian plateau. This is somewhat of a trigger for the serious situation in the future in the Transcaucasus region. Saint Gregory The Illuminator Cathedral
长长脸张少侠[Yerevan Cathedral] Also known as St. George's Cathedral, it is the largest church in Yerevan in Armenia, and the Trinity Church in Tbilisi and the largest religious building in the South Caucasus region, which can be seen in many parts of Yerevan. The Yerevan Cathedral was built on April 7, 1997 and dedicated on September 23, 2001, the 1700th anniversary of Armenia's designation of Christianity as the state religion. Pope Paul II visited the church after his dedication. National Gallery of Armenia

Blue Mosque
长长脸张少侠The Yerevan Mosque was built around 1765 by the then local ruler Hussein Ali Kan (Hussein Ali-Khan), and its main role was to be the main mosque of the local Friday. The majestic gates and towering minaret are set in fine blue and green tiles, full of colour and dazzling beauty, and this is the source of its name. The center of the mosque has a fountain, and other buildings of the temple are built around the fountain, the park is mainly planted with eucalyptus trees, and there are public bathrooms and schools nearby. During Soviet rule, the mosque has a Yerevan Museum. In the mid-1990s, Iran’s rulers rebuilt it, a massive reconstruction that was completed in 1999. It was Yerevan’s largest mosque and the only remaining mosque in Armenia built for Muslims. Its name G?k Jami means the Blue Mosque in Turkish.
