GGuest UserThey were at the beginning of August for a night at Cobaneshof. The room was very spacious and beautifully furnished - we felt quite well here. The reception and service also left no wishes open. Also breakfast was extensive and good. The ugly was sensationally on the ground floor - tasteful dishes for a super price. We can recommend the Cobaneshof without concern.

MMarjo1187The accommodation is located in the middle of the lovely old town. Walking distance from the bakery and the small local supermarket. Plenty of restaurants around but only a few open for diner. Make sure you make a reservation. We stayed in flat 1. Can accommodate 4, but max 2 adults and 1 or two kids would be appropriate. Kitchen is well equipped. Main bedroom and bathroom good size. There is a connecting door (locked) to the next flat in the main bedroom, that is a big negative when the neighbors are loud ( which some were) at night because everything can be heard. There are a tabel and chairs at the terras, only 3 chairs, and pretty uncomfortable ones. The 2 relax chairs that are also outside are ok. The sun umbrella was broken when we arrived and despite reporting this immediately and sending a reminder, it did not get fixed during our 7 days stay. Since no shadow at the terras most of the day, it was not possible to stay outside without the umbrella.

DDaniel3282This was my first business trip since the lockdowns started. I was really excited to going back to a hotel. I was expecting that the rooms would be spotless. I arrived in the morning and my room was not ready. This meant that it had been occupied the night before. This made me feel a bit uncomfortable but i shrugged it off thinking that they disinfected between guests. My room was not as clean as i thought it would be. there was hair from the last guest or from the staff in the bathroom when i entered. The mirrors also did not seem clean. I was there for a workshop with colleagues and i have to admit that the reason i gave 3 stars was for the food. I am Vegan and they were advised that there would be Vegans in our group, and the food was really good. The service , on the other hand, was extremely slow. Even with a preset menu, 1 hour was not enough for lunch. The wait was quite long. They are also understaffed at the bar area. We sat outside for a long time before we were told someone would come for drink orders, but since we were. Big group, the waiters simply took care of the tables with less amount of people. In the end, we went back inside without having any drinks. The staff at reception was extremely friendly. The disinfectant gel that they have everywhere smelled amazing as well. There is a lot of construction going on around the hotel, the views can be obstructed.
