Very beautiful and comfortable guesthouse, good service, breakfast is very delicious, and opposite Mozart apartment, Princess Cici once lived in this hotel. Attractions are all within walking distance! It's worth it!

The Astoria Hotel was convenient to the Airport on a No. 10 bus. A No. 22 bus from a bus stop 300m away will take you into the centre, but a short walk through the tunnel takes you into the old city. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful. Our twin room had an enclosed balcony which was a nice addition. The breakfast included hot items, bacon, sausage and egg as well as the usual cereals, cold meats and cheese, teas and coffee as well as juices. We are used to having a kettle in hotel rooms wherever we go, to make hot drinks. This is not usually provided at The Astoria, but after mentioning it to staff we were given a kettle and tea bags etc.

The design of the bathroom was awkward, resulting in the floor outside of the shower cubicle to ”flood” every time. Shower gel was empty for 2 days and it took a call for them to replenish it, while towels were not refreshed. Lastly the much vaulted rooftop restaurant does not have a view, and service was appalling, preferring to provide service non Asian customers and neglect my table. And the server will retort you when you brought it up. Only saving grace was location

Price-performance ratio is ok, depending on which room you get assigned. The cleaning staff of the room still has a lot of room for improvement. The breakfast staff tries hard but could be trained better. The reception staff is great. The bed linen, bath towels, hand towels and bathrobes are of very good quality. The equipment of the rooms is very good. Unfortunately there is no wellness area. Parking is a problem and there is no cooperation with a parking garage. The breakfast buffet is very generous and I had one of my favorite tomato omelets - it was perfect!

Hotel was a short walk away from the main city sites (Mirabell Platz and the Old Town). The room was really clean with complimentary bottled water provided. The lack of an express checkout, however, did take up some time.

This hotel's location is excellent. It is about 15 minutes walk to the old town centre and 10 minutes to the railway station. The meeting point for local tours to Hallstatt and other places is just around the corner. The reception staff are always attentive and polite. They have greeted me with a smile whenever they saw me. The restaurant Mirabelle's Italian cuisine is one of the best I have ever tasted. The staff there are very welcoming and caring. The hotel's room service delivered very good food at a reasonable price too. The room is of a good size and the bed is comfortable. The only thing I don't like is the noise of the vehicle clearing rubbish bins. It always woke me up before six in the morning. So choose the rooms on the garden side if there is a choice.

The Sach Hotel is famous in Austria. When I did the Raiders, I saw more of the Sach in Vienna. Less about Salzburg. I really want to feel this hotel this time, and considering the cost (Salzburg is cheaper), I booked sacher in Salzburg. The front desk of the hotel is very friendly. I know that my Chinese also chat with me in bulk and simple Chinese. She said that she had studied Chinese for a year, and she was almost returning it to the teacher. After checking-in, I will personally take me to the room and tell me that the cake can be purchased from the store downstairs or at the cafe for afternoon tea. As for the taste of the cake, I am a heavy chocolate sweetie lover, I like it (the cream on the side can relieve the greasy). It should be noted that the hotel will send an afternoon tea in the afternoon and two sacher cakes [laughing R]. In the morning, I feel that the single self-service is a bit expensive. I choose to call room service more than half cheaper. The result is amazing. When I was looking for a hotel for a 1-night stay in Salzburg, I stumbled upon the listing for the Hyperion and took a chance. I wasn't familiar with the Hyperion hotel brand and didn't know much about Salzburg. Now, I have fallen under the spell of both the hotel and the city. The Hyperion is a fairly new hotel and it is in pristine shape. The room is rather generously sized compared to most of the European hotels I have stayed in thus far. The bathroom was particularly good -- with an American-style shower that featured both a handheld wand and a rain shower head. The separate water closet was a plus. The technology in the room (especially the lighting tech) is impressive, if not slightly confusing. Nice touch to have the Nescafe machine and the Mozart chocolates. The bed was very comfortable. The location, next to Mirabell Gardens, was great. The hotel staff was helpful. We arrived early, and the front desk gave us tips on how to spend our afternoon, drawing out some local attractions on the map and suggesting we get a Salzburg card (we already had them). They also gave us a recommendation for dinner, but we were turned away at the restaurant, which was full. In stead, we dined at the restaurant in the hotel, which was quite nice. Service was solid. Breakfast is a tad expensive, but they do offer a wide assortment of breakfast items (hot and cold) as well as eggs made to order. Champagne was also available for mimosas. Nice touch.

Booked a big bed room, gave a suite, and both children were enough! Because the next day I had to catch the early train, I didn’t have breakfast. The restaurant of the same name downstairs in the hotel is very good, and the things that are done are delicious. 5 minutes walk from the train station The hotel entrance is relatively clean, there are subway and shopping malls and small supermarkets within 5 minutes. There is also a convenience store at the gas station.

The bus to Salzburg is only 15 minutes away, but there are several buses going at the same time, and Hellbrunn or Cable Kata are both on the mountain, so if you have a timetable to go there, you can stay in the hotel, especially if you travel from Take the Flix or Leo bus in Prague or elsewhere. This is the direction from the station to the city, so you can find accommodation earlier because the accommodation is earlier than the city. The staff are friendly and it rains a lot in Salzgan, so I rented an umbrella from the hotel and used it well. The disadvantage is that it is air-conditioned, so I chose this type of accommodation, which is usually not what we think it is, but a fan-like device. Please note that air conditioning is installed. However, it rained on the day we went, so that air conditioning was not needed. Opening the window and blowing the wind is much cooler than opening the air conditioner. You can open the window, because there are no mosquitoes, it doesn't matter. In addition to the disappointment with the air conditioning, the price is cheaper than the accommodation in Salzburg, so you can take the bus.
