SSkiiers_18Luxuy Plus! Liked · OMG! I'd have to write a novel on Helen's Luxury Hut!! Well organised, welcoming letter, and folder explaining all with key ready for me. Leon came along and welcomed me and opened the front door and show me to my retreat! King size bed with a mountain of pillows and cushions. Generous wardrobes, well appoined bathroom and toilet (ensuite). Carpet so soft and luxurious in bedroom. a couple of antique chairs to sit in. Common kitchen and lounge - fridge open to all, help yourself to coffee, tea, fruit, biscuits. Welcome to use kitchen facilities during stay. Lounge had large comfy settees and chairs to watch TV with other guests. Breakfast!!!! Wow - what a selection - all laid out on the bench inthe kitchen, choose from real coffee, yoghurt, fruit jellies, so many different cereals, apple and orange juice plus toast. delicious. I would have loved to have time to explore the property - 16 km from Ballart, but an easy drive. The house has 2 other rooms for guests, with a shared bathroom. BBQ on back patio for use too!

We had booked ahead, however for family reasons we had to change our dates and weren’t sure how many days we could stay. The staff were so understanding and let us just take it day by day. We ended up having 4 nights at their lovely park, clean ,tidy and the new drive through are great. Top G’Day park👍

GGuest UserThis is a little gem! I really recommend staying here. My room was great. After hours check-in was fantastic. The room entry technology is amazing! The shower was nice and hot, with great pressure. The bed was very comfortable with equally comfortable pillow. There were two spare pillows. Air conditioning very good. Lovely couch in the room. Awesome cathedral ceiling - always very impressive. Full size ironing board available, microwave, toaster, kettle all included. Fridge in room. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand towels and three bath towels all provided. Room smells clean on entry. The bathroom is a bit dated - especially toilet - but it does it's job. The room is huge in size. Great size room. Not much to fault with this place. There is a pool, but didn't use it and it's a bit hard to find the door to it. I would recommend staying here. It's clean and comfortable and very good value for the price. Stay here!

This is a hidden gem. On the outskirts of Ballarat, but all major attractions are only 15 mins away eg Sovereign Hill, Lake Wendouree etc. Spacious rooms, clean and comfortable, light breakfast provided. Very helpful staff, communicate well prior to your arrival. Indoor heated pool! You’d be mad if you didn’t eat at the Ballarat Providore restaurant right there. Excellent variety of hot meals, takeaway, and amazing cakes and chocolates (and home made jam) for sale. Comfy open fire. Lovely workers too. Next time I’m back in Ballarat I’ll be staying there ! And eating there!

Basic accommodation , clean small comfortable adequate. We had a double bed, a small table 2 chairs a moderate sized fridge toaster, kettle , microwave, plates and cutlery , private bathroom, with good shower, towels shampoo conditioner large tv etc. Its your basic 1970/1980 motel. Had some paint and its functional and clean. Having just forked out 260+ for not much more than this, at $110 p night it was fine. It is a Motel, you need to get in your car to get anywhere. There is a decent Fish and Chip shop 4 mins walk, Asian grocery and the RSL club across the road..least I think. Its a ”clean and comfortable night stay” It is what it is, stay go. Its priced as such..I couldn't fault the cleanliness, it had a split system, we were warm, had kettle toaster and microwave. Perfectly adequate for a night sleep on the journey to somewhere else. Side note...the owner, I assume, has several cats, they are friendly. like open your door, one wanders in..hops on bed..have a pat. Having said that if your not a cat person, and shooed it away, I think they would just wander off. But if allergic something to know. Basic and clean ..its a place to sleep and shower, not a destination ...
