Brilliant friendly staff , good food selection and god knows how many different beers on tap . We were on a family gathering over from England visiting Henley beach and we made this place our meet up eating and drinking venue ( more drinking than eating) . Had a great laugh with the staff who made us feel very welcome, disco on at the weekend s , allegedly it does get quite lively on a Saturday, I bailed before hand , but there’s was a really good singer guitarist on pre disco who had a really chilled vibe .

Our check in was very easy and with a pleasant staff member (Mathew), Our room was comfortable but needs some updating. Unfortunately the weather was miserable and the driveway to our room had quite a lot of water which covered a couple of very deep holes. Our room was behind the hotel which protected us from any road noise. A free drink per person is given on arrival plus 25% discount on all meals during the stay. The meals we had were of good quality and service was excellent. The bar staff are very pleasant and prompt.
The house was cleaned, there was no window, but there was a balcony, and the side wall of the balcony was made of glass, and the lighting was good. Take a taxi to the airport for more than ten minutes, about 20 Australian dollars. Not far from the beach, next to the Chinese Consulate. There is a big shopping mall next to the hotel's more than 100 meters gas station. Check-in for half a day can be considered. The only bad thing is that the room is not Wi-Fi.
The hotel is very conveniently located in the city center of Adelaide, surrounded by many supermarkets, pharmacies, cafes and restaurants, which is very travel-friendly. The hotel is a good choice in Adelaide, and we checked in early at 9:00 in the morning with our children, and only charged an additional fee of 15 Australian dollars, which I think is very reasonable.
Have stayed in Adelaide many times for both business and holiday, and this hotel now will be my first choice. Great rooms and facilities, views, location, parking . Hotel restaurants are the best and great staff who are all friendly and go out of their way to help. You just dont get all that these days. Well done to all.
We really try to make the best of every experience and don't like to complain but there were a few issues we can't deny or ignore. Our sleep quality was poor every night. From the sounds of pokies machines, loud visitors in the smoking area beneath our window until late hours (even on weekdays), hearing other guests through the walls (coughing, sneezing, talking, children, stomping/banging, the constant hun of someone's air con or something, even using the toilet). The bed was much too soft for our liking (although some guests may like it as it was) we had terrible back aches and still do even having returned home. The grey fluffy blanket provided had a large stain which appeared to have been wet, then dried hard. One of the pillows had a terrible smell - we thought it was the pillow case but after removing it, found the pillow had a large yellow stain beneath - the source of the smell. No microwave; one would have been very helpful. Pleased to have a kettle, fridge and iron with board though. The room itself looked pleasant and was very clean, including the bathroom and fridge. Huge shower head which was a bonus. Unable to open the room window so felt a bit smothered sometimes, some fresh air would be nice. Appreciated the free drink voucher and 20% discount on meals in the bistro. The bar/reception/waitress staff were fantastic, very friendly, eager to help and professional. Unfortunately, mostly due to our very poor sleep, we can't justify the price & won't be returning or recommending staying here. Thank you to the staff for their efforts though, it did go a long way and was the most appreciated point of our stay.
Ordinary motel, the facilities are a bit old, there is a distance from the beach, it is estimated to take about 20 minutes to walk. The key is that there is always a damp and moldy smell in the room, and it is the same if you change a room. It is estimated to be a common phenomenon. A month in Australia, is the most uncomfortable hostel in Melbourne and Adelaide. Not recommended.
After living in the hotel for three weeks, I can say that I am going to be a master. The rooms are large and well-equipped. The location is very good, the bus arrives at the airport, the hotel is next to Glenelg Beach, and it takes about a few minutes to get to the beach. The harbor branch at the doorway stopped a lot of boats. The weather in July was very cold in the morning and evening, and it was hot at noon. The sky is blue, and the sea is also. The hotel goes to outlet, IKEA, the airport is very convenient, there are buses in all directions; it is also very convenient to go to the city, in most cases we choose the bus or the tram on the beach. Along the way there are big lawns and houses with garages, everything is fresh. There are a lot of foods near the hotel. There is a high-price seafood buffet. Go over 1-2mins and recommend to eat at noon on weekdays. The price is cheap. Walking 4-5mins towards the beach is a row of restaurants facing the harbour, with the best oysters and a variety of fresh ingredients. The city’s restaurant wine is said to be a major feature. Going a little further to the beach is the lively pedestrian street. The tram is slowly smashing on the road, with ice cream shops and various gourmet shopping shops on both sides. Adelaide in July was winter, still cold, didn't go swimming in the pool, but the pool looked clean. There is no embarrassment in this city, only a steady life and a fireworks atmosphere.
The average price for hotels in Henley Beach is AED 764 on weekdays, and AED 969 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
