Stayed one night - family of four. My wife commented on traffic noise from the road outside but apart from this I cannot fault this place at all. Our room was spotlessly clean, the shower was pristine, the beds were comfortable. Really happy. I particularly liked the really wide car parking spaces - plenty of room to sort out your stuff at the car before carrying on the journey.
Very impressed with our stay . We called ahead and let owner know what time we expected to arrive and he turned the heater on in our room 30mins before we got there . Car parks are numbered so everyone know where they need to be . Rooms are big, clean, modern and beds are comfy. We stayed at another hotel $30 less on the previous trip and cannot say the same. There is no highway traffic so a good nights sleep was had too. Will certainly stay again the next time we travel to Horsham.
We only had a night stay in this motel. We arrived close to midnight from a long drive (SA) and we had received after-hours checking in instruction from the reception people. It was a good stop (location) if you want to have a break from driving between SA and VIC.

5/5 stars. Highly recommend. Especially due to the service by Linda. V polite, kind & professional person.
Upon requesting I was offered an upgrade at a discounted rate. I asked for a couple of bowls and cutlery- clean stuff was promptly delivered to the room.
Bed was comfortable, room was clean. We tested almost everything.
The heated blanket, microwave, fridge.. and oh the shower, that was the best pressure from the shower head…hot water. Ample toiletries.
Will highly recommend this place. It was close to a woolies, parking was safe & close to rooms. . Couldn’t fault this place.
We even checked out 15-20 mins late, no issues.
Highly recommended. I’m definitely staying here next time I’m in Horsham.
We needed and urgent place to stay and this was handy. Lovely people that run it. Good location for anything in central Horsham. Over the road from the Victoria Hotel which had (mostly) good food. The room offering was a bit basic and needs maintenance and more comfortable beds but could have accommodated up to 5 in 3 singles and a double. Having sid that o slept really well and was up with. Really hot, hot shower on a chilly winter morning. Happy with that. Lots of towels and good quality tea in the room.
Old and dated but very clean. Location is great and staff very friendly. Beds were reasonably comfortable, TV a little small but did the job. Biggest downside was the lack of pressure in shower; couldn't wash my hair.
This was the best place ever, great room, and a bonus was the very hot shower with great water pressure. Be stopping there again. The staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast was lovely and hot. The location, while on Main Street was nice and quiet could not hear any road noise at all. Can’t say enough good stuff about this place. Good job guys
Booked 3 nights accommodation with the property for a Queen & Single. Had a friendly check in with a map & food options freely given. The complex is the traditional 2 storey type, with nominated car parking spaces. We were allocated Room 6 on the ground floor. Plenty of room inside with 2 beds, a table & 2 dining chairs. There is really nowhere to put luggage, one going on an ottoman type thing & the other on the floor. There is a bar fridge, microwave, tea-coffee making & a large tv. The air con is really efficient. The beds are very comfortable. There is an openable window serving the main part of the room but still the room was very dark. The wifi is free fast & can be relied upon. The ensuite has a shower stall with a large shower head. The toilettries are 2 squeezy bottles in the shower & near the hand basin. There is no window but there is an exhaust fan. You need to ask to have your room serviced. We asked for extra towels. The motel is in a great location, right in town, close to food outlets. It is very quiet & we heard no noise from other patrons or road noise meaning a good nights sleep. This is a good value hotel.
Both the Horsham Country City Motor Inn and its host, Cherly, met our expectations after we read the favourable reviews on Tripadvisor. We stayed in both directions to break the journey between Ringwood in Melbourne and Mannum in South Australia where we took a cruise on the Murray Princess. As other reviews have stated, the motel is exceptionally clean. Sure, it wasn't built yesterday, but it has been maintained in tip-top condition. How often has one stayed at a 1980s-era motel and felt it had seen better days and was lacking tender loving care. The arrangement with the basin in the kitchenette rather than the bathroom is a little unusual but that was not a problem for us. The wifi was both good and consistent. Couldn't complain. Country City is conveniently located for motorists. Anyone using public transport would find a reasonable walk from the city terminal or station. There is a local bus almost outside the door but I guess it wouldn't be used by motel guests very often.

I really don’t understand the negative reviews, some people are just hard to please I guess. We stopped here overnight during a trip from Adelaide to Melbourne. Check-in took less than 3 minutes, possibly a world record. All staff were brilliant. Room was modern, warm and comfortable with all the amenities. The bathroom had a luxe feel and was surprisingly spacious. The room was also very peaceful from external and internal noise. The onsite restaurant and bar was also a highlight. The staff were again perfect. Genuine country town friendliness and service and not ‘forced’. Do try the Atta Vino Pinot Gris (You know who you are). The food was also excellent with a shared plate type system, think modern tapas. We shared one Baa plate, one small plate and one large plate between two; and almost had to be rolled out of there. Regarding the room rates, yes it is a bit more than some of the other options, by a bit more we are talking $30 - $50 in most cases, but well worth the investment. Be sure to book directly with the hotel for a better rate. Overall, a perfect stay and I can be quite fussy at times.
DDawnieLouiseWe were travelling through from Adelaide to Melbourne and booked in for one night. It was very hot and we called ahead to Craig if we could come in a bit earlier Not only did he make that happen but ensured the room was cool when we arrived. Lovely clean room with everything you could possibly need. Recharged easily with a great night sleep Highly recommend and would use this motel again for sure. Thanks again for your great service Craig
GGuest UserClassic old style pub..... High ceilings and vintage bathrooms and furniture. Was very happy with my budget stay. The staff member who showed me to my room had a lovely smile and eyes with a sparkle. Would stay again 😘
