Despite some noise transfer from incredibly selfish women in the next room who talked loudly until after midnight, other aspects of this stay were excellent. The hotel is a very easy three minute walk fromn Sandringham railway station, and fronts the beach (although guests in the 10 available rooms just get a slight view of Port Phillip Bay across the roof of the hotel). There were more amenities provided free than I'd ever experienced previously in Australia. Not only were there three miniature plastic bottles of shampoo and the same of conditioner, but three mini Tim Tam chocolate biscuits and three 250ml cans of soft drink were complimentary. The King Koil bed was extremely comfortable. Delightfully, it had a top sheet, a feature missing in so many hotels, motels and BnBs worldwide these days. Two compilmentary welcome drinks (i.e. one per guest) were availed of. There was also a 10 per cent discount off the meals, which we also used. The dining experience was very good. Aircon and WiFi worked well. The shower was very good, although one panel next to the handbasin showed some evidence of deterioration at the bottom. There was no traffic noise to speak of as the rooms are a fair way back from Beach Rd. Overall despite what are probably thin walls, an excellent brief stay.
We had a recent 2 night stay in these apartments to attend a wedding. We are a family of 4 so we booked a superior 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. We arrived after hours and the contactless check in process was well explained for keycard retrieval. I liked that there were allocated undercover car spaces for each apartment. Unfortunately, we were allocated an apartment with only 1 small bathroom. The managers acknowledged this mistake and the final charges reflected the 2 bed, 1 bath apartment. However, it did leave us somewhat inconvenienced as we tried to prepare/look good for the wedding using one tiny bathroom. I should say I have 2 teenage daughters! The beds were really comfortable but there was no space around the bed to lay out our luggage. The rooms were very small. I also requested the second bedroom be arranged as 2 single beds in my booking but this was not done. The kitchen was well equipped and the apartment was furnished with modern decor. I was grateful for the washing machine and dryer. There was mould on the shower floor tiles which was unsightly and we had a towel with some stains on it. These areas could be improved. The cafe and IGA within the building complex were super convenient. Wifi was excellent. These apartments are good if you need to be in the area otherwise, I would look elsewhere for a bigger apartment to suit a family of 4.
I went to stay at Anchorage Apartment Hotel in Hampton Victoria. On arrival the Apartments were hard to find and to park car - we were told on arrival that my car would not fit into car park as its a station wagon. So we parked far from Apartments to unload the car. This took some time. Once into the very small Apartment we then went to find parking for the car,. We eventually did it took us 1.5 hours. Therefore it took for ever to arrive find the Apartments which are directly over a railway line. We were exhausted. We contacted the Hotel and emailed and said we would stay one night and the second we would not. aThe apartment was tiny and didn't feel like a beach village stay. The kitchen we dirty and we cleaned before we used. The bed slid around and the mattress kept moving away from bed base. We didn't feel safe as the door was not so secure. The staff were rude and un accommodating when we arrived and as we had many things in car they said just park outside. We could not do this as we feared people breaking in. They have refused to refund the one night we didnt stay and stating its there policy.. Of course. we are very upset.. We give it a 2 out of ten and dont go stay there. We moved on and found a wonderful place to stay and had a fab holiday.

Our stay was overall satisfactory and would definitely stay here again. The rooms themselves were clean, comfy and spacious, the TVs were working fine, the staff were friendly and helpful and the location suited us just fine with free parking. I would just make a few small suggestions for improvement:
1) Please check your rooms before guests check in, including safes, to make sure everything is fine. My safe was locked with something rather unpleasant found inside once it was eventually opened!
2) Please make sure the rooms are all made up by the time guests get back. The other two I travelled with complained about their rooms not being made up a couple of times.
3) Anything that’s not working, eg washing machine, promptly put a sign outside notifying others it is out of order.
Other than that, no complaints, and as said, would definitely come back here!
Serviced Apartment? Really? Most people would define an apartment as having a living/meals area, a separate bedroom in addition to laundry and kitchen A small hotel room with a kitchenette in the entry and the small bathroom made smaller by a each Washing machine and dryer tucked in Great location. A moment away from the shopping ***** in Brighton
Kai and Ahmed at the front desk were just wonderful. They were very helpful and friendly. The location is great with Brighton Baths diagonally opposite and the beach within easy reach. The room was well-equipped and really spacious. It was however quite dated and could use a deep clean and some basic maintenance.
I heard that Brighton is a good area in the suburbs of Melbourne, 20 minutes by train from the city center, 5 minutes walk to the train station, and passing through the Coles supermarket and chain pharmacies along the way. But walking a little far from the beach. There is free parking. A washing machine is provided but there is no laundry detergent or washing powder in a small bag. Kitchenware is provided but there is no basic oil and salt. These are provided in many other apartments, which is particularly inconvenient. Other is ok
The lady at the front desk is very beautiful and more beautiful than the movie star. The blonde white girl is very enthusiastic and introduces everything in detail. The service is very good. I haven't arrived at more than 10 pm. The lady has called me several times to check in. And check-in time is 11pm! This holiday is good value for money, Ctrip booking is cheaper than booking, the room is a bit old and has no balcony and the west slope is very hot. Note that people who do not drive do not have to pay an additional $ 15 parking fee to book through the platform
Came in from the Country to attend a local Hospital. Was amazed at the presentation and cleanliness of the place. Only stayed 2 nites and unfortunately, not able to try the Restaurant. Certainly will if I’m in the area again
