GGuest UserThe beds were superb for comfort. Room was clean. Bathroom was spotless. A bit of routine maintenance needed for a leaking bath tub faucet and the inside of the sink overflow drain should be sanitized and cleaned out. Plenty of hot water! Our keycard had to be replaced twice due to none function. Certainly would stay again.
GGuest UserStayed at this hotel for 2 weeks for a business trip to the Kootenay. Very comfortable bed and I love the large pillows. clean and my room has a Kitchenette (That’s definitely a plus) The restaurant next door is amazing as well. The Black Rooster Grill and Pub. you can’t miss it, there is a 7 ft rooster statue outside the entrance! overall I had a great stay. I was too busy to use the hot tub or go down the waterslide. Definitely will stay here again on my next trip.
GGary MWhen we checked in, Simi was very kind and helpful explaining about special attractions and sites along with maps and brochures. We stayed in a queen bed that had a full kitchen (which we thoroughly enjoyed) July 5-9, then overnight in a king bed with a fridge and microwave July 13-14. We loved both kinds of rooms, but the king bed room location was more quiet. The last morning, we inadvertently left our tea towels drying (one of the towels being sentimental) I don't why i took a good tea towel on holidays. I phoned, talked to Simi and asked about the towels. Simi checked with the cleaning person and yes we had left the towels in our room at the hotel. Simi went above and beyond her job duties and took the time to go to the post office, package the towels and mailed them to me C.O.D. which i was so grateful. Thank you Simi for your kindness. We would definitely stay again. Rooms are good and prices are fine. Yes it is not a 5*, but the staff is 5* plus, especially Simi. Thank you again, Cheryl Magus
GGuest UserDuring the peak tourist season, it is very satisfying to find a room in a mountain town. This is a family hotel. When it arrived, it was around 1:30 in the afternoon. No one opened the door, no one answered the doorbell, and the phone left at the door was not answered. It was a bit anxious. I waited for more than half an hour under the big sun. I saw someone entering the house and knew that it was the male owner. It was a bit unexpected to complete the check-in.
The last cabin at the end of the corridor was the last cabin. The air conditioner was not working and the sound was loud, but there was 14 degrees Celsius in the mountains at night, so the air conditioner was useless and there was nothing to complain about.
