We stayed at the Auberge Objectif Sante for a couple of nights last week. It is in a very much French speaking part of Canada and is run by a Chinese couple where the husband speaks very little English of French. I found using google translate on the phone was an effective means of communication. The lady appears to speak passable English and French. When we checked in we were asked for payment before being sent to our room. The room itself was very small but we had expected this. It was okay for two nights but the lack of bedside tables was a bit of negative. The bed itself was the fold down type that could be folded up against the wall. It was quite comfortable. They asked if we wanted the housekeeping service on our middle night and we said that we did not need this. Despite being small, the room was quite adequate for cleanliness but one single very small bit of soap in the bathroom was not quite enough. They offer breakfast at extra cost and I would recommend taking this. The breakfasts were very good and set us up for the remainder of the day. Chambly is the nearby town which styles itself as a suburb of Montreal. We ate there on our first evening and were pleasantly surprised by it's vibrancy and nightlife. Sadly there are very few places to stay in the vicinity and Chambly is too far to walk from The Auberge Objectif Sante. We also took a day trip to Montreal and found that we were well placed to drive to the metro station at Longeuil. A tip is to park in the public parking at Hotel Sandeman. The Metro station is immediately adjacent. So would I recommend the Hotel Auberge Objectif Sante? If you are looking for a full hotel, then definitely not. If you are looking for a modest motel that is well kept, clean and you don't mind having to drive everywhere, then it is okay . For the price, there were no real problems.
Resident in this motel for one night, I got a room, barely opened the door, a smell of mold appeared, traces of non-cleaning are evident, traces of dust also. The toilets and the bathroom have been cleaned ”in a hurry”, the door as well as the air conditioning and the bathroom part have visible traces of mold. I greatly doubt the hygiene of the place and the risks that this could bring for visitors.
The hotel was very comfortable and wasteful in the courtyard and in the pool. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. Waste in front of the door, drawings on the walls, floating floor lifting, water all over the floor of the room, chair eaten by something, squeezed bathroom towel, dirty dishes, not washed boards because smell of cigarettes, Gondolling ceiling, sticks stick on the tape, hole in the door of the bathroom, dirt on the plate of current and moreover, there was no electricity and we see outside when the door was closed. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable. The answer I got was ”It's only the owner who can repay you and he is not there.” At the same time, another client pulls the keys on the account and wants to be repaid too. To date I have still not been repaid. The weekend employee admitted to me outside that he would not sleep in this hotel. The hotel is in a lamentable and unhealthy state. Don't get by the photos taken very long ago !!!

To be fair to Marriott I have to mention that the first night we stayed a bus hit a high power electrical tower and took out the power in the section the hotel was situated. This happened at approx. 10:30pm. The hotel lost power immediately. We were without power or running water in the hotel till 5:00pm the following day. At no point during this time did the hotel staff offer any assistance. Since we were on vacation we made the best of it. Used our own bottled water to bath and clean up and did the tourist thing for the day. We returned at 5:00 pm as the power was returning, so we decided to stay the second night as planned. It was 25.5 degrees Celsius (77.9 Fahrenheit) in the room according to the thermostat. We gave it 2 hrs it never moved. As I was going down to the lobby to inquire about the room a/c I ran into a woman on my floor. She inquired if I was experiencing the elevated temperature in my room as she was. At the lobby I was joined by her husband. We were told it would take some time for the a/c to cool our rooms, yet both of us made mention on how the lobby was done right frigid. Obviously the hotel wanted to give guest checking in the illusion that everything was all right. The front desk attendant went into a back room which I find hard to believe would hold the controls for the ventilation system, handed us each a 7 in. fan and told us he had made adjustments and it should get better. He also explained how to set the thermostat to hold a lower temp. It was 28 degrees Celsius (82.4 Fahrenheit) in our room when we left the next morning. Upon check out in a still cold lobby I mentioned my disappointment with my room and was blown off by the front desk attendant. I was then charged full price for both days. Obviously the Marriott is more concerned about the bottom line then the comfort of their guest. I personally will never stay in another Marriott hotel ever again. There are too many other choices out there.
Stayed here for the F1 race. The location of this hotel makes it easy to get to the Metro or downtown. Lots of places to eat in close distance. The hotel is super clean and the manager was very friendly and make you feel welcome.
I reserved a King Bed Drive Up Room (at a traditional style Comfort Inn). This was not the type of room I was given. Upon asking about it, told no more rooms. I went online and they had more listed. Once again the front desk agent refused to do anything. After multiple times of insisting that he call the manager, I was told just make a complaint. After refusing the move from the front desk, the manager was called and the front desk agent was told that I was in the right and was given the wrong room. The room itself was fine, however, was missing tiles by the bath tub and for a hotel having just been renovated there was also multiple holes from where they tried to install the towel rack. Given the customer service that I received from the front desk, I will not be staying at this location again. As a platinum Choice Hotels member, I was shocked by the service that I received. I do not recommend staying here.
The Alt DIX30 is a chic and contemporary hotel situated close to great shops and restaurants. The staff that i encountered were all friendly, courteous and bilingual; which is important for someone who doesn't speak french. An additional bonus is that parking (above or underground) is free.
