The hotel staff is very friendly and happy to answer my questions. They respect the guests very much.
The hotel environment is very good, comfortable and clean.
Only 5 minutes away from the train station, very convenient
There are not too many breakfast choices, but they are all acceptable and taste good
Stayed in this hotel for two weeks during my official visit in Switzerland. Located just opposite to Schonegg Tram stop, this hotel is just 10 mins from Bern Bahnof (Railway Station). This is an old design hotel with all modern amenities. The staff at the reception are polite helpful. The room which I got was at the end of the corridor which was quite small in terms of width. The bed was also quite small. The room was giving a vibe of coziness though. The bathroom was neat and clean but was small The hotel has an in house restaurant located in the first floor. Overall the food in the menu were quite expensive. The room rent didn’t include complimentary breakfast so the breakfast was also quite expensive ( 7.5 CHF for express and 19.5 for Buffet) Positives 1. Courteous Staff 2. Free High speed Wi Fi 3. Complimentary Public Transport pass 4. Clean and Hygienic room 5. B’ful view from the window 6. Check In and Check out was smooth Negatives 1. Small room 2. Items in the mini bar were quite expensive 3. Small bed 4. Air Condition in the room was bit confusing in terms of controlled heating/cooling
The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood. There is a bus station at the intersection, not far from the train station. The breakfast is rich, the rooms are clean, the facilities are new, and the stay is very good.

This hotel is a short bus ride from the main train station. The rooms are modern & ours was large. No one & no instructions on how to turn on the lights or operate the roll down shutters or anything else in the room. It was frustrating. There are large patio doors (no patio though) that open with electric roll down shutters. But our room faced busy train tracks & so leaving those doors open meant hearing VERY frequent train traffic late into the night & then starting again in the early morning. It wasn’t pleasant. Another thing to know about this hotel is the A/C is controlled & is central to the ENTIRE hotel and it’s not cool in the rooms🥵. There is NO adjusting it in your room or for your room 🥵. It is just what it is. We were advised to open our patio doors to get more air🤪. That would work if it’s cool outside AND there were not the train traffic! There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom and that just adds humidity to the room with no way to vent it. So this hotel is modern meets we don’t trust you. We would not stay here again & from now on even if the hotel says there is a/c we will have to ask the further question about who controls it & the temp.

The worst experience of my life! I planned to visit the beautiful city of Bern with my family a few years ago. The visit to the city was wonderful and to top it off I chose a four star “Boutique Hotel” to stay with my family and have a great experience. UNFORTUNATELY, THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN! The hotel put my family in a room on the top floor in the ATTIC with small windows and no air circulation. To solve this, the “four star Boutique Hotel” put a fan in the room. Apart from this problem, the room had a hydraulic problem and the hotel found a very creative solution to solve the problem! The entrance door to the room was cut and through it passed a tube that entered through the outside of the wall reaching the bathroom with the door also cut! a work of art that unfortunately does not match the expectations I had for a “Boutique Hotel” in Bern - Switzerland! A very sad experience! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone! ( attached photos )

The experience at Hotel Bellevue Palace was truly impressive. We were welcomed by the General Manager of the hotel at check-in and all the staff members were very welcoming and friendly.
The location of the hotel is about a 10-15 min walk from the Bern Banhof and centrally situated in the city of Bern. The room was spacious with a small balcony, a powder room, and a bathroom. The work desk also had its own power sockets compatible with various plugs from all over the world.
Checkout was smooth and easy and the front desk staff (I believe it was Paula) offered to help us to load our bags to our car and gave us a bottle of water for the journey.
The experience was truly 5 stars and is well worth the cost.
This is a very nice hotel. Conveniently located, easy transit access, very clean and a nice, friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay! The only improvement I could suggest is a more varied breakfast…it was the same every day which is different from what we are used to. I would recommend this hotel!
Taking the hotel at face value and considering the price we paid (I think quite a good deal from hotels.com) we were really pleased with our stay. La Pergola isn’t in the middle of the city centre, but it’s quite close and well connected by public transport (which they give you a free pass for)! We parked our car there and got around on busses. The man at reception kindly didn’t charge us for parking as there was almost no demand for it that night. The service staff in general were really nice. The hallways and common spaces are a bit bleak, but functional - it’s clear they’ve saved money here. The sound isolation isn’t the best either. But the room itself is actually great! Big enough for suitcases and stuff to be strewn around because of a clever use fo space. Proper outdoor blinds for a good night’s sleep on the comfy king size bed. Body wash available, nothing fancy but does the job. Honestly, for what we expected, it surpassed, so we were happy with our stay. Is it the best hotel in the world, no. Do you get what you pay for in expensive but beautiful Bern, yes. Good for those on budget!

GGuest UserNice Looking Hotel, Lacking Service I had high expectations for this hotel because of the name and the price and felt it didn't live up to either. The room was small but very nice room features and esthetics were great. The view was awesome, the bed was comfy and I loved the pillow menu. The room service was also really great. Good food, amount of time for delivery was great as well. The not-so-good: Our ”air system” in the room was not working the entire time and it was a constant fight with the hotel staff for them to even look at it. It was never addressed during our stay at all. When we brought it up to the lady at the front desk she told us we should open a window. I didn't pay $350 a night to be told to ”open a window” and I'm not a fan of sleeping with bugs that fly into the room. We did manage to get a fan for the room and that did help a little but the attitude was not appreciated. Also, we had a problem with housekeeping unplugging anything and EVERYTHING left to charge in our room while we were not there. One item was my electric toothbrush which was dead. They even when as far as removing our room key entirely from the wall. I found this very unacceptable. We are energy conscious but if I leave something to charge it's for a reason. Also on our checkout day housekeeping walked into our room at 8 am and saw my husband naked getting out of the shower. The location is okay, not super convenient, overall beautiful hotel but staff need some major training in how to service and communicate with guests.
GGuest UserThe Kreuz Bern Modern City Hotel is located in the old town of Bern. It the nearings of the hotel there are lots of shops and restaurants other than some of the best places in Bern such as the Bundeshaus. Everything is perfectly reachable within a walk of max 30 min or by simply using public transportat (the hotels had a lot of bus and tram stops at around 4 minutes and the Bern central station at 10 minutes). We were also provided with the Bernticket, with whom we had free access to public transport in Bern. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of choice. Rooms are nice and comfy. One side note about the rooms is that the double bed was a bit uncomfortable since it was composed by two single beds placed togheter. The hotel provides you also with a variety of ”entertainment” rooms such as the playroom with a mini pool table and a table football. Unfortunately the room is pretty small and play pool is difficult. Also the pool table is inclined, making the plays inaccurate. Other than this the hotel provides also a small fitness room with nice if you want to have a bit of training (of course it's not a professional gym but its enough). In the fitness room there is also a small sauna and a shower. From the fitness room you have also access to the rooftop from which you have a beatufiul view on the city.

Excellent
It's was a wonderful trip to Bern and also Moxy Hotel. This is my first time in Moxy and my expectation was that it will be amazing friendly hotel and it was more then amazing. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this hotel. When we went to check in, we got a WARM welcome from reception staff member. They explained about hotel, Bern ticket and the old town. The man at the reception gave us a voucher for a welcome drink which was very nice. Room was super cute but we did not found a laundry, but there was an ironing room. The thing which I loved the most in a room was a welcome message on a TV!! Overall, I recommend this hotel for everyone!!!
SSSTTThe location of the hotel is very good, next to Bern station, you can buy the necessities in walking distance. The room is comfortable and spacious. The service is professional. I order room service for breakfast, highly recommend the waffles! I would also recommend the restaurant “Nooch”, fried noodles are delicious, you can reach there on foot in 5 minutes from hotel
AAnonymous UserThe staff is very friendly and helpful. Coffee and tea is provided free to hotel guest all day which is a plus point to consider especially during the winter time.
GGuest UserI was in Bern Youth Hostel for two nights and I have to say that it is a super address for a short stay in Bern. The booking and payment in advance was completely unproblematic. The staff was super friendly, took time to explain things and you could even pray nicely. The rooms are spacious, clean and great bonus: there is one box for everyone that you can close with the room card. Breakfast is inclusive and it is more than rich: coffee, musli, bread, cheese, fruit as much as you want. With the expensive prices in Bern, this is an absolute enjoyment to start in the day. You get the price including the Bern Card 2. Class with which you can use all public transportation (including the belt track). I have only two small things to defect: bathroom and toilet were built in the staircase and very narrow. And the mattresses were absolutely through. In addition to these small things, I can only recommend a visit because of the location. The hostel is located directly in the city centre and still is pleasant and quiet right next to the Aare.
GGuest UserAbsolutely brilliant hotel, had the pleasure of staying there for five days. It was a very quiet hotel hardly heard a any noise, the food was excellent at both breakfast and dinner. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again

Very Good
First the good things. It is across the street, in front of the train station at Bern. It was perfect for us as we were planning to (and did) go to a different city every day. They also gave us a voucher so we could use all Bern public transportation during our stay. I dont know if it is a standard in Bern, but it was welcomed. On the other hand, dont expect the hotel to be a luxury or modern one. The hotel is simple, to put it nicely. At some hours, during the day, the entrance had a bad smell. We did not book the breakfast, but, when we checked it, it turned out to be a wise decision. Room heating can only be controlled by opening windows. Pluggin laptops, phones and other things that needed charging was an exercise in logistics. The people at the front desk were all over the spectrum. The lady who received us was incredibly nice. That was it. Everybody else at the desk seemed to dislike their job and were more than willing to let you feel it.
GGuest UserThe reception was very helpful and courteous. The family room was very big and clean. My daughter loved the experience of the old elevator. Breakfast is simple but had everything needed. Locations was great for us … walking distance to everything.
