Das Kloster Fischingen ist ein beeindruckendes Bauwerk und ein auch heute noch aktives Kloster. Es betreibt aber auch einen qualitativ hochwertigen Hotel- und Restaurantbetrieb, der gern für Kongresse und Firmentreffen genutzt wird. Das hat seinen Preis, aber man kann hier auch als Jakobsweg-Pilger preiswert in Mehrbettzimmern übernachten, bekommt sogar einen Sonderpreis und auf Wunsch ein preiswertes Menu. Dabei wird man ebenso freundlich begrüßt und behandelt wie die voll zahlenden Hotelgäste. Die Mehrbettzimmer sind praktisch und gut eingerichtet, die Bäder modern, man bekommt sogar sehr schöne Handtücher. Das Essen ist vorzüglich, das Frühstück ebenfalls. Die Übernachtung war ein sehr schönes und angenehmes Erlebnis auf meinem Weg!

Wir waren zu Zweit zum Lunch in dem schönem Restaurant und wurden vom sehr kompetenten und freundlichen Team verwöhnt. Das Surprise Menü von Küchenchef Udo Schwarzat war Geschmacklich und Optisch ein Traum. Die Weinreise dazu hat perfekt harmoniert! Vielen Dank ans gesamte Team. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können es jedem empfehlen.

Great basic room with comfy bed, TV, desk and good sized bathroom. Room was very quiet in a good location in the heart of town. You need to buzz to get into the building when you arrive so you can do the self service check in but other than that everything was pretty straight forward.
