GGuest UserI had a wonderful time here. Despite the owner is still working on some part of the structure, the hotel is incredibly beautiful! Makes you feel like stepping into another age. The host is also very kind and helpful, he helped me to buy the bus ticket and offered to drive me to the bus station outside the city. I warmly recommend this place to any visitor in Litang.
Il mio soggiorno qui è stato eccezionale. L'albergo è ancora in fase di rifinitura ma gli ambienti sono già godibili ed incredibilmente belli! Sembra di essere in un'altra epoca. Il proprietario è molto gentile e disponibile, mi ha aiutato a prendere i biglietti del bus e si è offerto di portarmi alla stazione. Raccomando questo albergo a chiunque si trovi a Litang.

QQiQQ21The name of the hotel is very poetic. I took my children to drive in western Sichuan during the National Day holiday. Hailuogou was originally a scenic spot as famous as Jiuzhaigou. I wanted to see the actual situation after the earthquake. Driving all the way from Xindongqiao to this B&B halfway up the mountain requires both driving skills and courage. However, the scenery along the way, the wonders along the way, the simplicity and ecology are so suitable for relaxing. The hotel facilities are very high-end and the materials are exquisite. The fragrance of roses is felt as soon as you open the door. The bedding is comfortable. Because I arrived very late that day, I fell into a deep sleep. During the communication with the boss, I feel that it is not easy to run a physical business. I like the boss’s sentiments👍I will definitely stay for a few more days next time I come back to feel and experience the moment of tranquility in the mountains and forests and the shock of the golden mountains under the sun...

GGuest UserThe hotel has a good environment and a superior geographical location. The front desk service is enthusiastic. The hotel arranged for Doji, a butler, to pick us up at the airport early in the morning and also prepared breakfast for us. The service was thoughtful, the rooms were clean, and the disposable items in the rooms were also very good. The hotel provided free highland apples, which were delicious and crispy. They were all considerate of the guests. They also took us to visit the temple. It was a very satisfying stay! I felt the warmth of home, the beds were comfortable, the supplies were thoughtful, and the service was meticulous. It is an ideal place to stay for business trips and travel.

AAnonymous UserThe last stop of my trip to Western Sichuan came to Kangding. I personally care about the old and new hotels. I chose a hotel that was renovated in 2024. In fact, it was renovated, but it was only the exterior corridor. The important thing is that the bathroom in the room still looks like an old hotel. It is very old! The toilet, air conditioner, TV, are new and partially renovated (the bathroom shower facilities are very old, the floor tiles still have potholes) and are not renovated at all. The hotel was built in 2008 and has been 16 years old. Forget it. More importantly, I slept with my partner. I scratched a huge itch all night. It was one or two o'clock in the morning. I was too lazy to make a call until the morning. When I woke up and washed up, I found that the plate holding the towels was moldy. I really couldn't stand the collapse. Although the attitude was very good, the hotel was being renovated. The outside guests did not live outside. I hope the hotel would take care of it. The room hygiene is good, but I still like the city of Kangding. It started to rain a little when I returned to the room at night. When the little brother saw us, he enthusiastically gave us an umbrella, but the hygiene was worrying! I rarely write reviews but my body was really itchy and there were a few little red spots on my back.

BBingcunI booked the ”river view” room on the 13th floor and obviously, I stuck gold after cranking my head from my room window, looking down to the raging water roaring through the river in the center of the city street. When I said ”raging” water, I meant cascading flows that echo through the entire city block. I had seen such terrain in Switzerland before but this is more impressive.
So ”location” is the biggest merit and I would recommend never sparing the money in exchange for the river=side room. Plus, the hotel is looking against the famous ”Love Song” Plaza of KarnDin City. For those who wonder what the big deal is about the ”KangDin Love Song”. For starters, it is a part of the Chinese growing-up song that is deeply entrenched in education, for even a person raised in Taiwan, let alone ethnical Chinese in the Mailand. It is more like a pilgrimage than touring that brought many to the city.
The smaller plaza right in front of the hotel lobby begins to gather impromptu dances at about 8 pm (Beijing time, local time ~ 6 p.m.). I admire the local Tibetans of all ages whose spontaneity sways with the music. The hotel doorman told me that yes, there were Han tourists also in the troupe, but you could usually tell them apart because they were the awkward-looking ones.
I have no complaints about the service, and I appreciate the enthusiasm the front desk people show when I try to gather information.
One more thing before I leave: if you are tired of the summer heat, Kangdin is the city you want to come! In late June, the daily high is 12 C!
The travel to the city has made extremely convenient by the recent completed Highway 42--an incredible feat of tunnel engineering in the world.

GGuest UserThis hostel is under different management than what many reviewers have previously written about. The big drooly dog is gone, staff were helpful, and the room clean and comfortable.
We were stuck in Yajiang without transport to Litang, and the hostel owner sent a car from Litang to pick us up on short notice. In many other small things they were helpful.
Location is off the main tourist strip, which we liked. There is construction opposite so keep that in mind if you like to sleep in - with two small children who were quite happy watching “construction TV” we didn’t mind.
Clothes washing facilities were great and we were able to hang everything out in the sun afterward. Very useful given we are cycle touring and don’t have many clothes!
Ronin gave us each a small hand-made gift on departure, which our kids loved. He and his staff made us feel welcomed and cared for. They are slowly fixing up some things clearly left in a poor state (like the bar building) but with COVID still affecting tourism in China I guess they need to prioritise. We had a great stay and highly recommend this hostel - thanks Ronin and team!

AAnonymous UserThe trip to West Sichuan was easy to stop and go. When I arrived at Bami Ctrip, I found this hotel. Seeing the comments and pictures, it seemed to be good and I booked it immediately. The room facilities are relatively new and fashionable, not only has floor heating but also a balcony. The balcony is facing the mountain view. You can also see the parking lot to see your car. The front desk customer service is also very friendly. It is the best night of your stay. On the contrary, it is more serious due to hypoxia and headache at night. I will return immediately in the morning, otherwise I will stay for one more night and play nearby!

PPongnarinThe sign board is in Chinese only. So, it is quite difficult for foreigner like me to get to the right building. Even my local taxi driver can not. Fortunately, the owner lady and friends are sittings at the roadside waiting for customers or passerby who looks for an accommodation.
The owner lady is very generous and servicible. She helps me carrying my big luggage from street to the homestay. She also show me how to use facilities in the room. She speaks only chinese but I can not. So, she suggest me to contact her via Wechat which I can use translation feature. In the morning before I am going to visit Yading Scenic Spot, she offers me an treking pole too. Nevertheless, Due to the early departure time of bus to Xianggelila, I figure out whether I move to stay in town for another day after finishing 3-day booking here. She asks me if I have nothing to do in town and decide to continue staying. She can provide a free pick-up to the bus station by her family car at 5.30 a.m. That is great.
The room is small and simple but tidy. Bed is firm and comfortable. It comes with electronic blanket which helps alot because it is freezing at night. Bathroom and toilet are clean. Hot water is provided all day in night. Shower pressure is strong and easy to adjust the temperature. However, bathroom and toilet are humid and difficult to dry because of the cold weather. Wifi is strong.

GGuest UserThis hotel is located a little too far walking distance from the town (15-20 mins all downhill) however, it is more affordable so a good place to stay if you are more on a budget like us! The man at the front desk was not very welcoming when we first arrived. He literally pointed at the Sichuan app and wanted our green codes NOW!!!!!! A quick hello or welcome (even in Chinese) would have made us feel a little more comfortable upon our arrival after an 8 hour journey! That being said, check-in was super fast which was much appreciated and the room was clean and comfortable. We struggled to actually sleep because other occupants were yelling in the hallways constantly. My husband had to tell people to be quiet!!! I think hotels should make more of an effort to ensure that hallways are NOT a space for loud conversation! Please remind your guests to respect the space in which they share with others. The following day, the same man who checked us in was much nicer and said a friendly goodbye. That made us feel a little better about our stay. I rated amenities lower due to no water bottles in the room and no information given to us regarding what and where available amenities even were. I believe this information should be shared during check in and/or explanations available in each room for guests to easily access. Overall, it was a decent stay but I would not return to this hotel. Service is such a big part of a hotel experience and if guests do not feel welcome, there is no point staying in that place.
